I don't see backup QB listed in anyone's needs list. Man, I'm kind of hoping they just sign Matt Flynn and be done with it so we don't have to spend a draft pick there. I wonder who Ted is looking at, because I'm sure he'll wait till after the draft to re-sign Flynn if he needs to.

IMHO Ted needs to resign Flynn for at least 1 more year regardless of the draft.
So he just needs to git er done.
And Flynn needs to realize staying with the Packers is his best option and: git er done.

Good point.
It's kind of a dilemma to waste resources in a contingency plan if Rodgers gets hurt because if he doesn't then we really need those resources in other parts of the team.
I think we might look at a very late QB prospect in the 6th or 7th round just in case we hit a jackpot while having Flynn as our not-so-secret weapon.

I hope the Packers DO NOT re-sign Flynn. Tolzien is a better QB, and with a full training camp, that will be obvious. He is already signed and cheap. As was said, if more is needed, there are plenty of good ones who will be available in late rounds or as UDFAs. I got Taj Boyd in the 7th of one mock draft.
Why is this backup QB stuff in the thread about Depth Chart: Defense?

My mistake placing this here.

I wonder if Matt Flynn is over pricing himself with the stretch he had?

IMHO, if he's gonna be a backup, he'll do it here.
If he goes elsewhere, it's for a chance to start. McAdoo could be a draw in NY, but his best fit is in GB. I don't see him going.
If he does it's a sign that he views Tolzien as a threat, which means he could be coming along nicely.
