My wife and I spoke to our son via Facebook today. (About 8:30 this morning)
It made my day, I mean my whole week.
At the end she asked him when were going to try out the web cam. He said he forgot that we had one too. She that that's ok she did not have time to brush her hair today.
Women! As if her son really cares.

I knew you would understand her PG.

I told her it reminded me of a George Jeston cartoon I was when I was a kid. (And that was a long time ago.)
Jane was talking on her phone. (You know the one with the tv screen.) Jane would not answer the phone until she put on a fake face mask as she had not done her hair or put on any makeup. Jane's girl friend sneezed and her mask fell off revealing that she had not gotten all fixed up for the day. So he hung up right away. Jane felt so sorry for her friend.

It is amazing how close we are to that age with web cams and so on.

Now we just need the flying cars and houses on giant poles.

On topic though, must be great to hear from your son again. Ofcourse I can't relate to this, but I can imagine it being a great feeling ^^.

It made my day that is for sure and I needed that.

Just an hour later I had to help my neighbor up. He fell and his wife couldn't pick him up by herself. It reminded me of when my Father fell. It was the beginning of the end for him. He was bed ridden for the next 3 months.

Thats GREAT news WPR!!!

I know what you mean with the "Jetsons".
I was thinking of "Star Trek", and the flip top thingys they used to talk to the ship. Sure does remind you of today's cell phones, hey? Except that cell phones let you talk, take pictures, listen to music, check your email......man......WAY ahead of Star Trek!
