"Ok guys today is going to pretty much be a goof off day. Just try to look busy and don't kill yourself. Have a Merry Christmas."
Thats exactly what our boss told us when we got to work today. I work maintenance for a college and no one is here but us. We did have a water main bust at another building, but that doesn't involve me.
I have a few employee evaluations to do, which I have waited til the last day to do; but all my guys always do their job so those are always easy.
After today, we are all off until the 5th of January with pay, as the college is closed for Christmas break.
I love my job! :thumbright:

Well my boss come twice a month sometimes more so I dont have any boss watching over me which I love!! She does call on the telephone here and there and we have to deal with her then, you dont know if she is having a bad day or good day, but working for her for 4 years now I got to know what works and what doesnt. We get our work done, but we can do pretty much what we want to do. :) |

Sorry Ironman I don't catch on. You love your job cause you don't have to be there? Sounds like a contradiction. LOL Sorry for me there's no better place to be on Christmas then working. Makes me hungry for the evening feast.

I love my job! :thumbright: That's cool. By 2 pm on Christmas Eve, the office was almost completely empty. That was cool. That's really cool about off until the 5th. One good thing about working at a school. (The other of course is hot college babes). |
