I'm another Packer Forum refugee. Before that, I was a Green Bay News-Chronicle refugee. I had started posting there in 2003, but the paper folded in 2005. I know there are other people here who started with the News-Chronicle site. It was horrible--almost completely unmoderated--but it was a start. In fact, I think Raider Pride was on that site as well. |

I had an account here back in the olden days when it was just Zero and Slick Vision arguing with each other. :thumbleft:
I came over from PF to look at a few of the videos Zero had put together. (Packer videos that is.) While I liked them I wanted to keep things simple for myself so I didn't come in very often. (Slick would call Zero terrible names and it was upsetting.)
I too had accounts at the old Chronicle and at Chatters but I liked the crew who was at the old PF site so I did not come back until the mass exodus. (Cheesey parted the brie and here I am.)
Actually I, like others, got an email telling me that this site was were everyone ended up. i was not interested in switching but when so many left the PF and the quality of posts dropped exponentially so there was no reason to stay. I came back to check the site out again and I liked what Kevin had done to the place. Slick promised not to insult Zero so much so it really felt like Home. I stayed.
I have been really impressed with how much Kevin has done to improve the site and keep it user friendly.

Don't want to go too far off-topic, but I couldn't help and go to PF once out of curiosity. You guys really looked like a tight knit community. I'm happy you guys came here, or Kevin might've gone mad by now, but it is a shame that that site went downhill like that. |

I brought people over from the Dark side lol. But in all honesty i found out Dfoster was my father and his dark side grew on me. Dfosters real name is Obi Wan Pa Sodbuster and he showed me how powerful the dark force is. So i am here to spread the power :p |

I came in here last year and have enjoyed every single visit. There is always valuable information around about the Packers and the NFL and I value a lot of people's opinions in here about the team.
I believe since I have joined this forum, I have become even a bigger Packers fan (if thats possible). I try to log on everyday and if I don't the next time I do I just spend more time on this site...haha.
I try to post as much as possible but I also hold back a lot because I don't feel I have as much knowledge about the team than some on here do. So I learn from the posters in this forum.
Great people, great conversations and always great and most of the time respectable debates.
And as someone said above, the streaming is an amazing thing. Living in Chicago, I am stuck watching the Bears. Nothing beats the streaming.

How I found Packershome.com?!
I found it to be utterly hideous in it's presentation. Not to mention the over abundance of pontification leaning towards flatulence, causing a direct double-helix of infinite proportions!
I.E, visa-vi, the amount of pablum spewed at an ever increasing increment of the fibers of our souls have rendered it null AND void of all logical incarnations of rational thought! In layman's terms...a wink is as good as a nod to a blind bat, skitamarinky dinky dink, skitamarinky doo!!!!
