If it comes down to Aaron vs Brett, I'd put my money on Brett.

I hope you meant to say Aaron. That's who I'd put my money on.

I would take the opposite approach to beating the Vikings, though. Shut down the passing game. Let Peterson gain 150 yards, or whatever. As long as you prevent him from making the really long runs, he can't beat you singlehandedly.

Heh. Yeah, that's what I meant to say. I think you could tell in my wordings I meant that. Aaron right now is a top 3 QB, Favre is a top 16 QB.

Can i have some of what your drinking Zombie? Top 3 qb? Who do you leave out, Brady, Manning, Brees, Rivers just to name a few?

Yeah, top 3 is looking a bit generous. I think we're all in agreement that he's top 10 though, and maybe top 7.

I also hope we're in agreement that Favre is still a top-16 QB.

I like Favre about as much as you like Antwan Odom!

Glad to see that you're back to your normal ass-hole self, Dave. Welcome back ! :pottytrain2:

And I got money on both Aaron and Brett to do well this year. Either of them win a SB and Mrs. Zombieslayer goes on her Alaskan Cruise that she's always dreamed of.

If we can't win the big one, money aside, I'm hoping Brett gets another SB ring just to see the look on your face, and the irony that you didn't win a SB until your most hated player ever joined your team. :tongue3:

I STILL don't think we have to worry about the Vikings winning a SB, Favre or not.

The comment we'd hear from Pack fans if the Vikings were to win would be in jest.
And if that were the case:
The Vikings would have won a SB with their hero in one year.. While the Packers won the same amount of SBs in the span of 16 years.

No matter what they were to say, it would be moot.

Actually, methinks we'd be focusing on the "Is Thompson the anti-Christ?" debate again so much that we wouldn't even think of saying such a thing. :)

You know what? I'm quite comfortable with it.

For one, I'll be visualizing VR squirming and that alone is worth it.

For another, Brett Favre is my fave player ever, so I'd like to see him ride off in the sunset with another ring, even if it's on the Vikings. Now if it was on the Cows, I'd be bummed.

And lastly, the Vikings have been a team since 1961, before the SB era even began. In that time, you have amounted zero championships. Zero. Until Brett Favre joined your team. Now, that's funny.

So if our OL continues to suck and bring down the rest of the team, I hope you can sleep easier knowing I'm wishing you well. :thumbright:

(pride always comes before a fall. here all i thought I had to do is look for the missing brackets around html.)

Er, zero, what's a BBCode and how did I disable it?

only BBCode i can imagine is some love child resulting from illicit sex between James Bond and an old british radio.

p.s. thanks for cleaning up the post, tho.

If you are making a post in the full reply (not Quick Reply) there's an option to disable BBCode in that post. You had it checked my friend.

It's BBCode, not html btw :P

Damn it Z2C, give the man a break.

Wade's an Economics professor for God's sake.

He's not used to dealing with the real world, and if you want to communicate with him speak in a monotone and ramble on, and on, and on.
That is the way those guys understand each other.

Those that inhabit the world of academia are a strange lot, and are not used to normal people.....be gentle.

Zero2Cool (1h) : Maybe this little shout has no value if people gonna use it instead of the forum.
Zero2Cool (1h) : He's not writing. He's shouting, and its making the shout kind of without point with the clutter.
buckeyepackfan (5h) : Just like last year at 4-6. The guy is just too funny!
buckeyepackfan (5h) : GOOD news Uffda is already all but writing The Packers off for 2017!
uffda udfa (10h) : Masturbation talk from Barfan? Nothing could make me COME back, quicker.
wpr (11h) : Maybe the shout box needs to take a timeout. People keep using it. ;)
Zero2Cool (11h) : Why do this is in shout? So frustrating. Post in forums. Thanks

uffda udfa (13h) : Now, a guy they really liked and have groomed for 3 years is the guy. Tons of toys on O. Let's see how it runs with a great coach, now.
uffda udfa (13h) : The Flynn Patriots game has been used to say that he is. Seneca and Scott showed otherwise.
uffda udfa (13h) : Hundley is going to settle the debate once and for all in whether Mike McCarthy is a great coach, or not.
uffda udfa (13h) : Doesn't speak well to the talent acquired by the org, does it? Easy to say talent is great until Rodgers is gone and you have to see it wit
Porforis (14h) : Could Sam Bradford come into the Packers and post a winning record from here on out? Are there any non-starters in the NFL that could?
Zero2Cool (14h) : Teddy is replaceable. Aaron is not. Vikings have a really good defense. We do not. Understand??
Zero2Cool (14h) : You are wise enough to know the difference. Right?
uffda udfa (15h) : Here's one for you, Z. Vikes lose Teddy B. and go out and aggressively get Bradford. Packers lose 12 and go out and get a UDFA.
uffda udfa (15h) : :) Evans had a pre-draft visit with Packers.
Zero2Cool (15h) : Put it in a topic. My lord why so difficult lol

uffda udfa (16-Oct) : @ProFootballDoc says Rodgers could return Week 14 at earliest, and surgery speeds up return timeline.
Zero2Cool (16-Oct) : McCarthy dropped a "bullshit" on packers.com stream. No delay apparently lol
Zero2Cool (16-Oct) : @AaronNagler One thing is crystal clear: McCarthy is pissed at the way his team played yesterday.
Smokey (16-Oct) : 2017 Packers are done , time to focus on the 2018 NFL Draft .
