I know he may not be as popular here and there's a lot of negativity in the media but I read in SI that his jersey is still the top seller in 19states. The next closest guy was tops in 3. I hat the idea of this game cause I still love the guy. I don't think that will ever change cause if it wasn't for him I might not even be a NFL fan at all. Don't worry though I'm giving the Pack my support :thumbright:

Who was 2nd on the list with 3 states? My guess is Tony Romo or maybe Manning

Just because you like him doesn't mean anyone else has to. Let's show a little tolerance here.

Quote:NFL Jerseys
Perhaps the most interesting jersey sales list of all time has hit our desk at CNBC. It's the NFLShop.com's best selling jersey list from April 1-August 28.
Here's the entire list from sales on NFLShop.com from the NFL's first four months of the fiscal year.
1. Brett Favre, Vikings
2. Jay Cutler, Bears
3. Troy Polamalu, Steelers
4. Michael Vick, Eagles
5. Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers
6. Tony Romo, Cowboys
7. Mark Sanchez, Jets
8. Tom Brady, Patriots
9. Adrian Peterson, Vikings
10. Eli Manning, Giants
11. Terrell Owens, Bills
12. Peyton Manning, Colts
13. Hines Ward, Steelers
14. LaDainian Tomlinson, Chargers
15. Jason Witten, Cowboys

If that figure is reputable, there are sure a lot of bandwagon jumpers in Wisconsin. Wow.

Can't believe that such a big amount of people bought a Vick jersey. I mean, if he came in to be the starter I could totally understand. He's an exciting player. He's nothing more than a role-player, though.
And 20. Michael Crabtree. I bet that they want their money back, lol.

I don't believe it said anywhere that all the buyers were from Wisconsin.
Brett Favre had been loved as a football player world wide.
Personally I wouldn't own anything Viking related-------- EVER.

Good. Get those bandwagon jumpers out of our fan base. Anyone who owns a Favre jersey in Wisconsin has serious hillbilly authority issues ever since they were fired from Piggly Wiggly for repeatedly ringing up customers wrong because they are either too stupid or their sausage fingers are too fat.

So, the grayed states don't buy jerseys?
I know, they are probably tied between two or more players.. but I want to see that stat, too.
Otherwise, that's a great map.

Ah lighten up NS was just teasing PC. I guess I could of used a smilie  I actually can easy see how people have no use for him. I think the difference is to some he was like a family member and to others just a great player while he was here. And I'm not saying either one is good or bad

A little smiley is helpful, particularly on this sub-forum. People unfortunately tend to read the worst possible construction into these debates. Heck, there have been plenty of times I thought I made it abundantly obvious I was joking and people still thought I was being an asshole. ;)
Just trying to prevent the flame wars here.

Funny you should say this. I was clicking on this thread with the intention of wondering whether the Vikings' victory yesterday has spurred a deluge of jersey sales.
