So true. And because Favre opened his mouth, all the critics in the world are going to be collectively chanting for his head and no one will pay attention that Chilly is the idiot here, not Favre.

Tis better to be thought a fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

It's should be what's expected of Favre, though. 17 years of him doing this.. and people think it's gonna change now?! HA!

I'll say it again as I've said for years. One of the things we all most enjoy about Brett is his openness, and it's also one of his biggest down falls.

By your theory, if someone robs a bank, bah, let them, its what they always do we should be used to it.

The difference between a bank robber and Favre is pretty big. My theories/opinions aren't in one solid grey area.. There's a very fine line, and it's between the bank robber and Favre. Sorry, dawg.

I guess you just skimmed another article?

Quote:
It doesn't matter that you're right and Chilly is an idiot

The writer has said Chilly was an idiot..

The issue is not if he was right in staying in, but why bring it up in the media to give people a reason to bad mouth him

Because that's what Favre does. I agreed with the article. Hense why I commented what I did.

It's a bit too late to be worried about Favre talking about this stuff to the media.. I'm sooo over this.

It's the thing that has always annoyed me the most about him, because it's a patent ploy for attention and an attempt to wrap the media and public perception around his finger. The same guy who was telling homespun stories to the media was cruising around downtown Green Bay with his boys acting like an asshole (and I heard this from people in Green Bay as long ago as the 90s). I'd rather he kept his mouth shut. Gods are supposed to be mysterious.

Yes, of course, you're different, you're special. We get it.

I think his openness let us feel closer to him, in the light that we were somewhat like him. He had his failures, mistakes, etc ... and kept fighting to over come them with hard work. His openness opened the door for us to see him as a blue collar type of person, which is an accurate description of most Wisconsin people.

I'm sure your next reply will contain four words that I will need to look up on Dicitonary.com that explain how how my opinion is wrong and doesn't match you one bit. NonStopPredictable. :)

LOL

I'd give you a +1.. But you have too many.

How come when I talk to someone like this, I'm labeled and asshole, but you get away with it, by putting a smiley face down.

Dude, that's the point of those emoticons.

Asshole.

Zero2Cool (3h) : Hi 😊😉
TheKanataThrilla (8h) : I guess I should have did a refresh when I walked away from the computer.
TheKanataThrilla (8h) : Peters is 25 with one year left on his contract at just over $3M
Zero2Cool (10h) : Mel Kiper sticks with Marcus Davenport to GB in 2nd mock
Zero2Cool (11h) : As for Marcus Peters, how old is he an what's his contract years left?
Zero2Cool (11h) : Packers got tired of Sitton's antics.
Zero2Cool (11h) : Sitton was released not because of play or salary, but personality. He will not be re-signed.
TheKanataThrilla (11h) : If we are planning on possibly cutting Cobb I can see the 2nd round pick. A second round pick for Peters is a pretty good deal.
Smokey (13h) : I'd offer Cobb + a 3rd round pick + a 6th round pick in 2019 for the CB Peters from KC.
TheKanataThrilla (13h) : I guess that is a highter round pick
TheKanataThrilla (13h) : Suggestion was a 2nd round pick. I would want a lower round pick. I think that is too much. A 3rd or 4th seems about right.
Smokey (13h) : Cobb and WHAT PICK ?
TheKanataThrilla (15h) : A suggestion I saw was a trade of Cobb and a Pick for Peters. I think that would be a great move.
Smokey (17h) : Sitton was drafted be GB in 2008, not a young man at this point, but still is a "bear" of a man.
Cheesey (21-Feb) : Sitton? Maybe if the price is right.
Cheesey (21-Feb) : I doubt the Packers would try to resign Sutton. But who knows? If the price is right?
Zero2Cool (20-Feb) : Bears declining option on Josh Sitton. He'll be Free Agent.
Zero2Cool (20-Feb) : Chiefs CB Marcus Peters trade rumors -- come to Packers!
Smokey (20-Feb) : Join us in Packershome and be part of the discussion today .
Zero2Cool (19-Feb) : Elizabeeth ... good bye

Rockmolder (19-Feb) : My girlfriends says thanks, Rourke.
Smokey (19-Feb) : Nonstopdrivel that you most likely say to all the frogs you meet .
Nonstopdrivel (19-Feb) : Rockmolder's avatar is so fucking sexy.

buckeyepackfan (17-Feb) : Saints De'Vante Harris nothing but a POS!!!!! Look up his tweetes on Florida killings!!

Zero2Cool (13-Feb) : Based off 2017 records, Packers have toughest schedule for 2018
Smokey (13-Feb) : Wow, tough new 2018 Packer Schedule !
Zero2Cool (12-Feb) : I don't know anything about him though. He good? Bad?
