None of the above. It wouldn't have been a wasted vote. Obama and Romney -- Those were the wasted votes. |

The site has been really laggy the past few days, but at the moment it's quite snappy.
Sometimes I think web hosts become victims of their own success. They start off well, but then they get so popular that their bandwidth gets overloaded and they can't serve pages fast anymore. |

Yeah, I'd hate to have find a new host, again. This is getting obnoxious and they tell me everything is fine, or that it's my software. Yet, never had this issue prior to joining with the new host. |

Why so sporatic though.. there has to be a root cause that they should be able to identify..
Can you do traces like SQL over mySql? Troubleshooting any potential issues in the DB calls or performance? |

I think it's sporadic because of the shared hosting. When we spike to shittyville is when the server is under heavy stress. Anything I've checked, works perfectly fine. When it's slow, I'll run a SQL query through phpAdmin, snappy as can be.
I don't know what it is. |

I came here to post my response from the host and the damn place timed out, not once, but TWICE. Quote:Dear Kevin (aka SUCKAH), Thank you for contacting Online Support. Please note that since you are on a shared hosting server there can also be slow loading times due to the activity of other users on your server. This issue can be caused by an application interfacing with the database or the amount of content the site contains. You can improve performance by optimizing the fields and tables of your database. See the link below: http://dev.mysql.com/tec...2000-20000719/index.htmlPlease let us know if we can help you in any other way. Sincerely, Matt P. Online Support Representative |
