Wow, Dakota, your daughters are a lot younger than I was expecting.

Damn. I'm not even 30 and I've been married over seven-and-a half years.

The only relationships I was capable of at 22 were drinking buddy and then fvck buddy. Congrats on your early maturity.

Maturity IMO is over-rated.

So are parties.

Go figure.
None of the above. It wouldn't have been a wasted vote. Obama and Romney -- Those were the wasted votes.

Maturity, like virginity, is both highly overrated and highly underrated.

And Dakota, I wasn't talking myself up. I just can't imagine having been single until the age of 30. It's outside my realm of experience. I haven't been single a day in my life since May of 2002. I often wonder what singlehood would be like after all these years.

As I understand it, singles party and hang out at bars and shoot pool. My life is nothing like that. I'm the next closest thing to a stay-at-home dad. (Obviously, that will change after I graduate.)

Since when in the history of mankind has it been true that non-monogamous men necessarily lead wild lives?

Never meant or tried to imply you live a wild life...

I'm single, I don't do the party thing, I don't hang out at bars, and I sometimes shoot pool. Does that mean I fail at being single?

No, it just means that stereotyping anyone -- singles or non-monogamists -- as living wild or irresponsible lives is foolish.
