Apparently there's a group of fans around here who are tired of Kyle Orton and want to see Tim Tebow play some ball.

“We believe in Coach Fox. We’re just tired of Kyle Orton. We were sitting around after Fox said he didn’t hear the chants for Tebow and we figured if he’s deaf, we hope he’s not blind.”

A group of Broncos fans have purchased two billboards in downtown Denver for $10,000.

I think the only resolution here is to trade Tim Tebow. The callers into the sports shows are annoying as heck. I think trading Tebow will be best long term. He's not going to be the starter. They don't even have any special packages for him to play in the red zone.

Kind of brings back memories of '08 ...

The Broncos find themselves in a real mess.. by keeping him they have this type of pressure.

If they play him.. he is not ready, will hold back the team somewhat in the passing game and may stunt his development.

If they trade him.. there will be an immediate crush of pressure from the fan base. If Tebow develops elsewhere.. career end potential as a GM/Coach. If Orton or Quinn can't steer the team to a winning record.. career end potential as a GM/Coach.

Personally.. the best thing you can do is continue to play the best option available.. and hope he develops so that you can let him play. Either that.. or you play him and head for the Andrew Luck / first pick of the draft sweepstakes..

Either way.. if your John Elway or John Fox.. you inherited a massive headache.. an extremely popular player that is ready to play.

Bad juju... very bad juju.

The best thing for Fox to do is ignore the fans.

They don't know as much as the coaches. They have not watched Tebow practice day in and day out.

Was it Jerry Glanville who said, you know what they call a coach who listens to the fans. A spectator. Because listening to fans will put you in the seats with them after you lose your job.

I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.

McD drafted Tewbow

McD is proven to be a HORRIBLE personnel man!

yet fans go nuts for him every time Denver needs to punt 🤔

The Tebow pick in the first round was a blunder. They needed to trade him when the new coach came in. Instead, they tried to trade Kyle Orton, and failed, which only made things worse. Last I heard, Tebow was not even the #2 QB. He was #3 after Brady Quinn. Even though the fans are wrong to demand Tebow, in a way the Broncos are getting what they deserve.

Tim Tebow is not the number 2, he's number 3. I base this off John Fox on the radio when asked who would come in if Orton went down, he said Brady Quinn. If you look at the Broncos website, under backup QB it lists "Brady Quinn or Tim Tebow".

Part of me almost wants Tim Tebow to start a few games, just so fans shut up. Listening to the sports show here on the way home from work was difficult as it was because it's Broncos talk, but now its "wahh play Tebow, wahhh, wahh".

I suffered through similar crying back in '08
