I personally thought that shot that we took to the endzone to James Jones (I'm pretty sure this was 1st & 10 around the 30ish yard line) was the most unneeded part of that drive. We tried several shots like that all game and they obviously took those away, unless you count some of Jordy Nelson's circus catches. Rodgers definitely didn't look like himself, but there was some bad playcalling involved as well.

But damn that that O-line create some nice runs for our backs..... if only they could be that good in pass protection...

The Packers show that they are the better team every week. They just don't win every week.

I'm much more concerned about all the previous failures than I am the last drive. The Packers had no choice but to try quick pass after quick pass during that last drive because they have no confidence in their pass protection. It then becomes pretty easy for those giant defensive linemen to knock down passes.

But still, I never thought the Packers would score on that last drive. Not for a second. The moral of the story for the Packers is: They can't allow themselves to be in that position at the end of games. They had PLENTY of opportunities to make sure it didn't happen throughout the course of the game, but they didn't do it.

Well deserved loss.

I think you have to mix things up once you get inside Cincinnati territory, though. I saw no screens at all today, which is something Johnathan Franklin did well at UCLA.

I understand McCarthy wasn’t willing to risk anything, but sometimes you have to take a chance. If you or I can notice that a quick pass is coming from our living rooms, then Mike Zimmer can from the coaching booth. You have to adapt.

Overall, I’m not surprised at the outcome. I was down on the Pack heading into the season and they got my hopes up with their play in the first two weeks. I just find this outcome hard to stomach because it reinforces McCarthy’s and Rodgers struggles during critical points in the game. Plus, this was such an ugly game. It was wild, but neither team can feel good about how they played. There was some bad football out there.

Not making any excuses, but when your offensive players are dropping like flys it's hard to play good offense and win that game. The coaches must of been scrambling when Franklin got nicked up for a couple plays.

Rodgers AND McCarthy have to break the seal on this and start winning football games when down in the 4th Quarter against .500 teams or better. 0-18.

WTF?

Rodgers isn't the big time come from behind clutch quarterback. It's a weakness of his. I'm OK with that, though, because he's as good as anyone otherwise, and doesn't put himself in those situations very often. I'd prefer it that way, anyway. I don't want to see a lot of last minute drives for the win. I wish he and the team were better in come from behind victories, but it is what it is. I'd prefer that those situations never happen to begin with, though, and I'm confident that will be the case pretty often for the Packers. There was certainly no need for it to happen today. Too many missed opportunities earlier in the game. I'm not sure why anyone thought it was going to be different on the last drive.

Show us those numbers please. If not, then that stat is as useful as saying the team with the most points wins 100% of the time.

Rodgers is not someone who can bring this team from behind. Additionally, his two interceptions were stupid throws in the tone that he had someone wide open in the flat. Piss poor decision making.
