GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The charmed existence of Titletown, circa 2009-13, might well have shattered Monday night.

The Green Bay Packers, after all, have built four postseason appearances, two consecutive NFC North titles and one Super Bowl victory around the most elite quarterback play imaginable. The Packers without Aaron Rodgers? Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no, no no no no no no no.

They've already lost one game without him, a 27-20 defeat to the Chicago Bears on Monday, and quite frankly the Packers face a difficult road to the playoffs if his injured left shoulder sidelines him for a any significant time.

Ouch! All I can say is Seneca Sinclair Wallace reminded me of Christian Ponder last night, if that puts anything into perspective. Your game last night reminded me of nearly every Viking game the past 2 years. Big runs from a good running game, a QB running around looking lost, throwing horrible looking passes, and again losing another close game. Yes, you now have a glimpse of what it feels like to be a Viking fan these days. Wonderful feeling isn't it xD? Oh except you have something to look forward to, and your trophy case is still full.

You guys are new to the "OMFG I can't believe a QB can be this bad" club, and yeah it's frustrating, but even if Rodgers is out 5-6 weeks, at least you guys have that to look forward too. I mean it could be worse, there's nothing to look forward to in the QB department over here, except maybe the draft again. For whatever reason, Ponder was named our starter again for Thursday night. Frazier is still convinced he gives us the best chance to win, proof that he doesn't actually watch our games. Meanwhile the only QB who has looked good for us this year, and has our only win, has inexplicably been forgotten all about. All I can do is wonder what I ever did wrong to be stuck being a fan of this clueless sorry ass franchise.

Well anyway, just wanted to welcome you to the club even though your membership will be brief.

I will say this in Wallace's defense: McCarthy didn't help him with all the pass plays called. I thought there were plenty of opportunities for us to convert and extend drives with a running game that was working just perfectly. For whatever reason, they kept going to pass plays, with an ice cold backup QB.

Why? I still don't get that.

I believe we should have won this game, even without Rodgers and Lang. Really poor play calling.

Jonathan Franklin is a 100 yd RB. Proven. Why did he not get more reps, or, any reps? It should have been a 3 headed monster of Lacy, Starks and Franklin. Didn't happen. That's where we lost the game.

Wallace did look like crap. No question. But, that is the staff's responsibility. They had 3 quarters to take note of that and adjust their game plan. Poor preparation, and poor game time management. We all saw it. Why didn't the staff? Zero adjustments made = LOSS.

The Packers had 29 rushes to 21 passes. They stuck to dink and dunk, what he, theoretically, should have been capable of doing.

Did you not watch the last drive? As I already stated, that could not have more clearly illustrated Seneca's limitations. Zero blame on MM...Ted, sure, Seneca, you betcha, but MM??? Specifically say what more could have been done when given a QB mid game who clearly has physical limitations prohibiting him from running any semblance of the Packer's offense.

Not to say I told you so, but I TOLD YOU SO! And that gives me no satisfaction at all.

TED THOMPSON has done a shitty job as a GM. I'll say it again, TED THOMPSON HAS DONE A SHITTY JOB PUTTING THIS TEAM TOGETHER! All of that was masked by the fact that Aaron Rodgers was/IS so good. If we had, for example, Josh McCown at QB after Rodgers went down, he would have done bad because the O Line would have had him or whoever running for their life. As good as Eddie Lacy is, the line couldn't get him even a hint of a hole once the stupid Bear D Coordinator finally adjusted to not having Rodgers at QB. If the Packers had managed to pull out that game, THAT would have been the headline - Bear D Coordinator fails to stop Lacy after Rodgers injured.

Even with all of that, however, the season is not down the drain unless or until we get the reports on Aaron Rodgers. Maybe it's rose colored glasses, but he didn't look to me to be hurt all that bad . If he is out a game or two and we lose a game or two, with this schedule, we could still take the division. If he is out 3 or 4 and we lose 3 or 4, we could take the division or at least a wildcard.

Oh how I wish it was B.J. Coleman or even Graham Harrell. It was nothing short of insane to cut them in favor of this piece of shit, Wallace. And Vince Young? He would have won that game! - Why? Because he could have run for his life amidst poor pass blocking.

Damn Damn Damn. Ted Thompson screwed things up royally!

It's like the football gods decided they wanted to show Packer fans what Viking fans have to watch every Sunday. At least your coach isn't a moron so maybe he'll have Wallace better prepared than the idiots running our clown show. Now if only the football gods would let us Viking fans know what it's like to watch a top notch QB play every Sunday. 🙏

Wallace only threw the ball 19 times. I don't know how you can throw any less and still keep a defense honest.
