I can understand your thinking... Losing in week 17 gives the Packers a better opportunity to pick the player highest on their draft board.

However.. There is as Pack93Z states the economic impact.. Great point.

Add to that..... Playoff week and atmosphere experience. For all of the kids this week the playoff atmosphere and experience they received is a big plus in 2014. If that experience helps them calm down, and focus better next year at the dance, it more than makes up for the drop on Draft Day.

Go to hell Rock. [grin1] I had the balls to bring this shit BEFORE the Bear game and got my chestnuts roasted by a bunch of doucebag assholes, figuratively speaking of course. Now you cowardice-like come in here after the playoff game and bring this up? I'm appalled and frankly you owe me an apology. [roflmao] [roflmao] [roflmao]

I do feel that there is quite a gap between pick 14 and 21, regardless of whether you can find some gems in the 2nd, 3rd or even the 7th round.

I have to admit that a big part of this is personal preference, as well. I'd rather watch the draft than 3 Packers games.

I'll gladly give Chicago seven spots in the draft in exchange for the experience of watching Aaron Rodgers hit Randall Cobb on fourth-and-8. That's an all-time great Packer play.

The Bears have had earlier picks in 7 of the last 10 drafts. And we keep ending up picking after them year after year.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

I apologize for calling the OP an idiot.

I should have said his post seemed completely idiotic to me instead.

Seeing Cutler and the Bears cry and go home was priceless, I really don't care about when we pick in the draft.

I won!!!!! I got to slap my jackass B-I-L around for another week. Had the bares won both games this year he would have been even more of a jerk that he normally is. In the end all I had to say is GB has been in the playoffs the last 5 years with a SB to show for themselves. HOW BOUT DEM BARES? They only made it once and GB eliminated them in one way or another 3 of the last 4 years.
