Our team is built to win in the cold. I don't think our play caller is. The passing game looks like a dome offense outdoors.

So did the 49ers. They just had a better running quarterback 😉 Maybe if Rodgers was actually playing healthy he could have taken off a couple more times...

I also would put our offense up against anybody's. I mean, did anybody else notice that Aaron's throws were unaffected by the conditions on Sunday? He has spectacular arm-strength and accuracy. I know some believe that a dome would favor our offense, but I think the cold gives us a greater advantage. In a dome there is a level playing field for quarterbacks, but outdoors I know we always have an edge because we have Aaron Rodgers. Also, (most of) our receivers don't really ever drop the ball, and we have several brutally physical running backs. Pretty favorable situation if you ask me.

I'd love to have their defense though. That defense with our offense would be an almost unstoppable football team.

early season/middle season/late season, good weather/bad weather, the distinctions are greatly overrated. It basically takes the same things to win anytime. Last Sunday's game had about as extreme weather as you will see, and there wasn't much if any adjustment done or needed. That kinda was a detriment to the Packers, as I remember the real Ice Bowl - frozen and SLIPPERY field, and that sort of thing would have helped the Packers - or more precisely, hurt them less. The Niners were the better team, personnel-wise, and bad conditions tends to help the slower, less athletic team.

Packers offense isn't the problem, the defense is!

But still, for the Packers to be successful, Aaron Rodgers has to be almost perfect, and in my opinion, he wasn't against the 49'er's. It's unfortunate and unfair to Aaron Rodgers that he has to play so well for the team to win, but it's the truth.

The team tends to win a lot of December games if I remember correctly. Can't really argue with results. People make too big of a deal about teams "being built for cold weather". For the most part it's just a made up story line pushed by the media types. This team can throw the ball in the cold and it can run the ball well enough. Defensive consistency has been pretty terrible over the years. Teams lose for the most part to other teams that are simply better or more consistent. Being "built" the right way is a much smaller part of the equation.

IMO "being built for outside" has less to do with being able to pass, and more to do with being able to run and pound the ball between the tackles. The last few years we were not, but this year we made a huge stride in that aspect.

Now if you had told me before the game that we would get 26 rushes and 4.3 average from out RBs, Get one turnover and not commit any and only get called for 3 penalties, I would never have guessed a loss.

Mucky Tundra (2h) : *to be able
Mucky Tundra (2h) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)

beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money

Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin

beast (30-Jul) : RIP site 😭
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site will die, I have to restart it.
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Quinn stinks. Lot of underthrows. (my guess)
beast (30-Jul) : How did Quinn Ewers effect where Golden was drafted?
dfosterf (30-Jul) : All I've experienced was late at night or early morning. I just figured you were doing something in the background
Zero2Cool (30-Jul) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂

Mucky Tundra (27-Jul) : Golden with two TDs in red zone drills today
