According to the chart SF would only have to give up the #77 pick to make the deal work. That #94 is a 120 point throw in, and we are already over by 35 pts...

But, HELL YEAH I would take that deal too. I'm just talking about getting two R1 selections, and what it might take to do so, and how feasible it might actually be.

2nd 3rd and 4th round picks seem pretty valuable to me this year. Teams that usually go back up to get another 1st rounder are ones that have a high 2nd round pick which is not us meaning we'd probably have to give up most of the early/middle of our draft to do it which just doesn't seem worth it for what's potentially available at the end of the 1st, most of those guys just don't seem like players you give up that much for. I don't see the late 1st being significantly stronger than the late 2nd. I mean is haha and mosely really a future 1st, a 2nd and 3rd better than something like haha/Jordan Matthews, haha/Murphy, or Mosely/Bucannon

Why would SF have to throw in the 94? That is what I am wondering. I mean, if they wanted to, that would be fucking awesome!

On another note, I see some mocks have both Shazier and Mosley being available at 21, with the player not selected usually going to DEN at 30. What if we took both of them at #20 and #21, or #21 and #22? How cool would that be?

I'm betting if Pryor is available at 21 Ted takes him, if not, I look for ted to trade down to secure some extra picks.

Going to be interesting to see which of these guys who have graded out as 1st round picks fall into the 2nd rnd.

Other years it might make sense to try and get 2 1st rnd picks, there just seems to be too much talent throughout the draft this year to not take advantage of as many picks as possible.

I could see Ted trading down early, accumulating 3rd, 4th and 5th rnd picks, then using them to trade back up into the 3rd and 4th rnds.

Glad it's finally here, by the end of Saturday night, we all will know what Ted's plan was.

Put it this way, if there were two very, very special players that Ted felt would be great for our team, and if he had a trading partner and wanted to do it, I would be all for it.

I'd rather have a two All-Pro players than 4 that were just considered to be good players. I say that knowing of course there are no guarantees, but the odds of landing All-Pro players are better right in this range that I am talking about. Considerably more so.

Granted, this is all pure speculation, but I wanted to show we are bracketed at #21 by 3 teams that have only 6 picks in this draft. One of them may want to make a deal for more picks... it is possible. I'm not expecting it to happen, but it is possible. Maybe the professionals have a different take on who the true top talents are, and just how deep this draft really is...

This draft is deep...deep at positions we really aren't in need of (depending on what you think we need).

I'm all for trading up if the right players are there, but not for a scenario in taking both Shazier and Mosley. It would be nice if the Packers can take a safety (let's say HaHa or Pryor fall) at 21 and if Shazier and/or Mosley are still on the board late in the 1st (even better would be if they were still available early in the 2nd but that doesn't fit the thread topic).

Quality over quantity in this draft, imo. The deepness of this draft class doesn't fit the needs at the Packers positions to need more picks in the later rounds.

What is being considered deep talent positions this draft? Wide receiver and cornerbacks? I'd say the drop off in talent is pretty significant for the other positions other than those two.
