The NFC playoffs are going to be very good. Pretty much have to win next week if we have any chance of making the Super Bowl.

What was the Patriot vs. Jets score? Can we nitpick issues? No doubt...the Pack also just won a road game and allowed about 150 yards and a 2nd straight td-less defensive performance. I'm not trying to sugar coat anything, but it was a December road win.

I don't feel very good about that win.
At times in the 1st half I felt like I was watching a high school game.

Lacy still looks good, D did well even if against an awful opponent, 🇦🇷 looked ok despite injury/illness. Stuff to correct, no doubt, but I'd rather have a 17 point road win than what's happening to indy. Now!

Anyhow, the 2010 Packers went on the road and beat the top 3 seeds in their home field and when the Packers have had home field "advantage" they have lost.

Neither is a sure fire way to get to and win the Super Bowl. But hoping for a physical team like Seattle to come to Lambeau Field is not a positive warm fuzzy feeling in those of us who have paid attention.

Physical teams in the cold seem to dominate the Packers. The Packers are a soft team that needs to be in a dome when it is cold or a warm environment for them to click on all cylinders.

You do realize Indy came into this game with nothing to play for? I'm not even sure why Luck came out on the field. It was a rest game for the Colts even though their guys went through the motions. To read a single thing into this Cowboys game is ridiculous.

Packers O is half as good on road as they are at home. That is backed by the yearly average on the road vs. home. This O is a home darling much like the Saints of yesteryear...or the Rams greatest show on turf. Thank goodness for Eddie Lacy.

It all rides next Sunday... sadly, it won't be SNF game... Car at Atl steals the show. Thanks. Saints.

No team wants to get drubbed by 35 though. If you don't want to use that example, NE nearly lost to an equally inept foe. Buffalo just pissed away their season to a doormat. Lions struggled against the Bears...
you get the idea. Again, not saying today was epic highlight reel material sans flaws, just saying a December road win by 17 isn't the worst problem to have.

Arizona just gave up the game with that long bomb to Wilson for the TD. That Buffalo loss will cast it's pall over the entire playoffs. If you think we struggled in Buffalo and Tampa...boy I can't wait to see what would happen in Seattle.

It sounds as though the NFL may actually suspend Raiola...no idea if he'll actually miss the game.

Going to be interesting to see if being at home gets us back on track vs. an excellent defense. I'm preparing for a 2010 Week 17 Bears styled game.

Because McCarthy is arrogant. Lombardi telegraphed everything too, but because he commanded the discipline from his players to execute, it didn't matter that the other team knew what was coming. If Lombardi had a quarterback the caliber of Rodgers - they wouldn't have lost a game for a decade.
