Both have expiring 2018 contracts.

Who goes first? Or... Are they leaving together?

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

Thompson should have been shown the door at the end of this season.
He is the reason the Packers have been stuck in never land for the last six years with one of the finest quarterbacks to ever play the game.
It's Super Bowl or bust and Thompson has gone bust!

With the constant number of injuries this team endures, you absolutely NEED a guy like Ted Thompson to keep spare developmental players in the pipeline.

He's the only reason we have a chance year in, year out.

I'm not saying that if Wolf or Gutenbergzowski, or whatever his name is, gets the position they'll keep McCarthy because they have worked with him before, but I think it gives him a better shot than say a guy like Pagano who has an outside GM coming in. It would be interesting to see! I don't think Mike is the best coach in the league, but he is up there, IMO.
