I for one, was hoping we would keep Hill. At least he showed he wanted to play, and probably would do as good or even better then Hundley.
Another bone headed move by "Ted".
Seems they think a backup QB just needs to be able to fit into a uniform, not actually be able to produce on the field.
Let's face it.....this season is over for us. We MIGHT beat the Cleveland Browns.......that's MIGHT.
I will still be a Packers fan, no matter how much they suck. I stayed from the "Glory years" through the "Sucky years", and as long as I'm alive will cheer for my guys.

Tayson Hill, if he IS better than Hundley (which I am not sold on, and I am NOT a Hundley fan), does not do enough to make a big difference for this team. I don't see how it was a boneheaded move by Ted to let him go without a big heaping side of hindsight. Seriously, did YOU think Rodgers was going to miss half the season or more this year? W

Why is it final cuts, when only talking about a single cut?

And I would even disagree with that single cut... as if you're going back to redo history, go back to the draft when they could of traded Hundley as they (reportedly) were offered a draft pick, and then that why you could of kept RB Hill instead of a second QB.

But I still think the offense could potential improve. Hundley wasn't comfortable, I think that was partly a mental thing for him getting his first shot... but at the same time, when they started crowding/blitzing/over loading the line, Hundley nor the Packers seemed to have no answers. Some slants or something to the outside to get them going... in which Hundley and the Packers struggled getting anything to the outside WRs going.

You know now, they're going to either blitz the heck out of you, to get the QB to get the ball out quick (like they do with most back-up QBs), and/or they're going to sit back and play cover 2, focusing on all the short stuff (like they did two years ago with Rodgers, with Nelson out).

I never said Hundley didn't WANT to play. I just haven't seen anything to think he would be any good. He's been studying for 3 seasons, and should be able to hit an open receiver. If he can't, he shouldn't be the #1 backup.
Hill was exciting in the preseason, while Hundley was not.
Wouldn't you agree?
Just because you put time into a player should not be the reason to keep him.

But Hundley didn't do anything against the car salesmen, did he? He should have lit them up.

Anyone who thinks this was ALL IN knows nothing about the NFL. It may appear as all in out of context but it's not remotely all in within context.

The team let 7 players walk who needed to be replaced. They paid less for the replacement guys as opposed to paying their own. That's not all in. It's using FA to replace players you couldn't or didn't want to sign. All in? Lol. My goodness being a fan of this team has caused mass brainwashing.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."
