Kaepernick is better than Hundley right now. He is also a proven leader of men. I absolutely agree that McCarthy should shoulder the majority of the blame on this one, but so what. They wanted Hoyer, Kaep is better.

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Let me know if Kaepernick is able to stop the opposing offense from converting a majority of their 3rd downs...

Hundley is a problem, but he is the least of the Packers problems right now. There are teams in the league right now managing to win games with crap QB play. The Minnesota Vikings come to mind. And right now, the Chicago Bears are doing the same thing.

Hundley so far is trash (I think MM has a lot to do with this).

Packers defense is a damn dumpster fire.

Edit: would like to add to this that Kaepernick has an open lawsuit against NFL owners at the moment. I highly doubt any team in the league is going to sign him to a contract while they are in the process of being sued...

Kaepernick has made his bed , but does not want to lie in it ? Apparently he thinks that disrespecting America and then calling it a social protest is "OK". It is one thing to protest even a valid cause, but quite another thing to throw shit upon another valid cause as you protest .

Kaepernick's cause, as worthy as it may be, is not worth throwing any NFL Team into the Media Grinder and allowing the tail to wag the dog . Maybe he should try Canada next season or perhaps Arena Football .

I'm just shocked he won't play in the CFL. If he's so great he should completely destroy the CFL and then that's loads of ammo to show that it's not his play that's causing him not to get signed.

So much hate. Bet he would sign for veteran minimum. He has experience. He is a leader of men. More and more kneel, as racism is more and more exposed. I don’t appreciate the insults and juxtapositions. Y’all make me embarrassed as a pack fan.

Wow....another person that, if you don't agree with him, thinks we are all stupid racists.

L
"Leader of men"?!?!?
What...because he chose to sit during the anthem?
He has experience.......yes, but he's not very good as a QB. Just because he did play, doesn't mean he is GOOD. If he was, he'd have been signed by a team long ago.
Racism has been exposed.......and there is racism against WHITES as well.
I'm not going to get into the whole "cop/black black/black thing, as I said it many times already.
It just amazes me that those facts are constantly ignored by those that want to make EVERYTHING about race.
THEY are the REAL racists.

Porfois, let me answer your questions as succinctly as possible.

Kaep has better stats then Hoyer.

Kaep has better stats then Hundley.

Kaep beat us without mercy multiple times.

Kaep has a very similar game compared to Hundley, but has actually won.

Should I expand further?

I never once said poor Kaepernick. He has a better track record than any QB on our team, or any QB on the open market. Sign him as a backup to Hundley. Whatever. You all sound like bitter rubes. How would Hoyer have been a better acquisition football wise?
