Bulaga is fine. Chargers and SF were the worst performances of the seasons and his main problem in SF was he was on the bench or in the locker room.

Regrading the offensive line in general, it is hard to tell where to place the blame.

1. Most sad to me is how Rodgers is not good reading the blitz anymore. Getting sacked on third down seems to be his most consistent play over the last two years.

2. Wide receivers not getting open forces the line to block longer.
-- There is some discussion that this may be on Rogers too though. Review of the tape has shown over and over again that the younger guys are open and Rodgers just does not see them or just does not pull the trigger.

3. Bad execution and penalties getting the team in 3rd and long puts stress on the line.

4. The play calling adjustments before the snap are hurting and not helping this team. When you are snapping every play with one second on the clock, it is easier for the D to get the jump on the snap.

The offense has been a disorganized mess over the last month. Fixing the fundamentals will make Bulaga and the rest of the line look better.

That contract extension is looking more and more premature all the time. Then again, I thought it was premature from the moment they first announced it.

I don’t care what anybody grades Bulaga as. Fact is, he’s an elite tackle in the NFL when healthy.

Well I don't know how bad he's injured, but he is active!

Maybe they keep him on the bench for emergency use only.

When healthy HE IS ONE OF THE BEST on the business.
Last week was the first time all year he missed any action that I can remember.

Bak has always been amazing pass blocker, when he's not being bulled rushed (and he's improved in that, though this year is a step back, and might be in part due to the new system).

We have no proven commodity behind him. Do we let him go to FA and hope we draft his replacement? His replacement should really be in the lineup right now unless we are comfortable taking the risk that we can sign him or something comparable. Aaron is not as mobile as a few years back time to solidify that OL.

I say re-sign him to a heavily incentive based contract. In the next few years, draft a T in the 2nd-4th round that has potential to be coached into a good NFL tackle. Similar to what we did with Jenkins, but fortunately he worked out really good for us already.
