With the OL, I imagine they dress 8, so even if the three injured players are able to return, they should have all the guys who have been starting for most of the season. Meyers or Bahktari being back doesn't bump Patrick or Nijman off the active roster, it bumps a practice squad guy like Braden. Plus, if Bahktari or someone else is rusty and getting beat, they can put in the backup with the confidence that those guys have the experience and ability to perform at an adequate level. Additionally, Turner hasn't been out that long, so I wouldn't expect a big drop-off in production from him unless he's not healthy enough to play. In any case, it's a good problem to have.

I know there is something to be said for sticking with the same group of guys on the OL, but they largely haven't done that through the season with so many injuries, so I don't think cohesion is as much of a factor as it would be most years. Getting the best group of guys in there is more important, and I trust LeFeur and Stenavich to figure that out.

I believe it's up to 48 now, assuming 8 of them are OL... so you're only not dressing 5 players (seriously, why not just allow all 53?).

When have the Packers brought stars back for the post season? This seems like never happens...

I say let the best players play... and for OLBer, that's easy to get a rotation in place.

OL and CB might be a bit harder, but there is only Alexander, and in theory he can play any of the CB roles as long as his shoulders holds up (and Sullivan was injured in the Lions game).

The main question is the OL. Which Newman has played the most snaps, but he's also struggled the most, I think I'd rather have Myers over Newman, and that's what the started with the Lions. And then it's Bakhtiari or Nijman, if healthy, Bakhtiari is better, sorry Nijman. Also there is the other side with Turner or Kelly, Kelly has played better than I would.of thought, but Turner played most of the season.

Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I would imagine Dallas will resolve this issue with a truckload of money
