Totally speculation here, but I didn't think we could keep everyone, and with Za'Darius taking Packers off his social media and this report, I'm wondering if they're releasing Za'Darius and resigning Campbell.

I think Z being gone is a given at this point. If Campbell sticks around w/Z cut, I would assume we're seeing a edge/OLB on day 1 or 2 in the draft.

I hate to be overly critical, but when I read the title of the thread I thought Campbell was quitting, which is what 'resigning' means. You rather should have said re-signing.

I had been an English minor many years ago....sorry to nit-pik

Yeah, it's crazy how poo-poo our English language is. A lot of people do not understand that there should be a hyphen in there. Resigning and Re-signing are two very different things. Folks just hope the context will provide clues.

Based on his current contract, he's a FA in 2023, unless the Packers release him sooner.

Bill Huber of Sports Illustrated spoke with Campbell’s agent, Joe Panos, who confirmed the two sides have been in contact regarding the team’s “desire to do a new deal” but negotiations are still in the infant stages.

Campbell’s contract will void on Monday. An Instagram post from Campbell on Sunday night sparked speculation that he could be in Green Bay signing a new deal with the Packers before his contract voided, but the deadline either passed or will pass without a new contract.
