Does Aaron run the franchise?

He has run this team for awhile now. He got MM fired, he gets whoever he wants hired and also gets his players signed. So for anyone to say he doesn't run this team is blind as a bat or is just so far up Rodgers ass they can't see anything. As far as his future thats easy to guess, you just have to follow one person to know what he will do and that is the GOAT Tom Brady. If Brady retires after this year Rodgers will stay playing, if Brady comes back Rodgers will retire, simple as that.  Why do I say that ? It's fairly simple and the answer is Rodger's ego. He will not want to play 2nd fiddle to Brady going into the HOF so he can't retire in the same year. Why do you think he was talking retirement this year? Brady retired if you remember so of course Rodgers wanted the huge contract even though it wasn't about the money. Plus he could have been very easily 2nd fiddle to Big Ben in canton with the way the Steeler fans show up there for there players.  So basically just follow Brady and see what he does and you will get your answer on Rodgers and I am willing to bet the house Rodgers won't retire the same year as Brady, the ego won't allow it.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Team already gave up on Aaron. That's why they drafted Love.

Aaron proved he can't do it in the playoffs. He has done nothing to show otherwise in subsequent years. Wrap him in bubble wrap to protect his trade value. Let's see what the young guy has.

Is there something in Aaron's contract that says he can refuse a trade? It seems like they are too afraid of him. Somethings's up with that.

They needed him for two years, so they had to give into him to whatever degree. Gave him the contract, brought back Randall Cobb.

Can he force them to pay out that entire ridiculous contract?

No he doesn't run things, he can only make suggestions to those that run things...

But let's be honest, you already knew that...

When Aaron says jump, the front office says, how high?

I saw a video today and it was interesting you bring the motion thing up because this guy brought up how Rodgers doesn't like this run first type offense with the motion he perfers the West Coast offense. Just thought it was intersting with you bringing it up

Also the Wide Zone systems that LaFleur, Shanahan, McVay run are also West Coast Offense as the Wide Zone offense is a subset of the West Coast Offense.

The big difference of what makes a Wide Zone offense that, vs another West Coast Offense is their Zone blocking up front on run plays.

But yes, I think LaFleur was naturally more Shannon small ball style and Rodgers was more MM deep ball style of the West coast offense... and now they're some where in-between but I think they that far off from Sean McVay whom has been a deep ball wide zone style for a long time.

dfosterf (18-Aug) : We do have good depth at running back imo. Still so frustrating. Bitching about it is a futile excercise, which I plan to do anyway.

dfosterf (13-Aug) : a lower back injury
dfosterf (13-Aug) : Doubs says he's "fine" after injury scare. Some reported it as z
Mucky Tundra (13-Aug) : With LVN that is; need to see what happens in the next practice
Mucky Tundra (13-Aug) : beast, reading about what happened, it sounded like one of those "two guys collide and are moving slow afterwards" type of deals
beast (12-Aug) : I believe Musgrave has been injured every single season since at least a Sophomore in highschool
packerfanoutwest (12-Aug) : Matt LaFleur: “Highly unlikely” Jordan Love plays more this preseason
dfosterf (12-Aug) : Doubs, Savion Williams, LVN, Musgrave all banged up to one degree or another, missing one here I forget

TheKanataThrilla (9-Aug) : NFL Network is broadcasting the game tonight, but not in Canada. Not sure why as no local television is showing the game.
beast (8-Aug) : But the Return from IR designations had to be applied by the 53 man cutdown.
beast (8-Aug) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8-Aug) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8-Aug) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (8-Aug) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress
