The Ryan Grant comments were freaking awesome. I watched it yesterday at work and couldn't stop laughing!

keep it low profile, didnt want it to be a distraction to the team in any way

Last season, he established career highs in receptions (80) and receiving yards (1,292) to go along with nine touchdowns.


Those are the facts so we don't get jumped on for not backing up our statements but look at those and the way the nfl is today those aren't superstar stats they are average stats. Wrs are going over 100 receptions and 1500 yards and double digit tds.


But he got what he deserved by being classy about the contract i think. But c'mon now would you pay 13 million to a little above average wr? Thats Fitz, Bolden, and Johnson money.

Guys, no matter what our GM does, if it can be shown in a positive light, some will find anyway to discredit that. Even with that said, we should view dhazer's comments with a grain of salt and open minded. Read his comments as someone you don't know who hates Ted and respond that way??

Fine, I'll respond.

A. Not one WR went over 1500 yards and double digit TD's last year.
B. The deal is not $13 mill per year.
C. Greg Jennings is a high character, locker room leader with good values as well as high football production. GB's FO values character as well as talent.
D. The deal is done. Go play with your blocks.

I think some of you are being a little harsh on Hazer.

I think Pack93z mentioned previously that GJ isn't a DEFINITIVE top 10 wr...anyone could make a great argument for him anywhere between about #5 and 15 probably. His 80 receptions are one way to support the argument that he may not be a top 5.

Personally I don't feel that way...I think Raiders, Redskins, others would have been willing to pay AT LEAST this much for GJ, plus I think with his upside, value to team, leadership, character, etc. compensate for the stats which may not directly support his pay. I'm just saying I don't think the overpaid argument is completely out of whack.
