The news out of camp today is that Brian Bulaga took some reps at left guard. Up till now, the coaches had said that Bulaga would just play left tackle. Maybe they've changed their minds. It could be Bulaga vs. Colledge at left guard.

EDIT: Here's the article from the Press Gazette on Tuesday morning:

Man I hope they know what they're doing. The o-line has been one of the worst parts of this team since McCarthy took over (my other vote would be for special teams).

Bulaga has been so good in camp that I think the coaches are having trouble not putting him on the field. This is a case where Bulaga is probably going to play because he's one of the five best lineman.

I agree. Center, guard, tackle, fullback. Don't care. Whatever makes the line stronger and consistent.

I would rather him just practice as a LT. I'm tired of our coaches always shifting our linemen around thinking it is making our line better, but in fact, IMO, it is making them worse. Linemen need to not only be comfortable at their position, but also with the men next to him. Neither of which can be achieved with all the position switching that has taken place over the years.

When you look up and down at the guys, only Colledge has really suffered from being shifted around. I don't think it's fair to assume that it'll hurt the team if they move Bulaga around at LG and LT. If he can take it, then he'll be fine. Colledge couldn't take it. In my opinion, Bulaga can.

I thought D-Smith, Barbre or Giacomini would be cut when they drafted Bulaga. But sounds like Giacomini has been doing great with this offseason.

But I think Bulaga, Colledge or Lang should be focusing solely on LT, because history has shown Clifton will be able to finish all 16 games...

And I'm tired of all the shuffling... I think it's hurt Colledge, Barbre, Spitz, Moll and all of the others...

Look at the guys that haven't been moved. Sitton is not the best OL we have. Giacomini has been said he's going to push Tausher for playing time (not sure I believe that but sounds like he just keeps improving).
