Kids "having a good time" isn't the problem.
It's the teen pregnancy, STD's and the girls who THINK the boy "loves" her, and who is emotionally crushed when he gets what he wants and then dumps her.

Good. Having someone rip your heart from your chest and stomping on it is a good thing. It helps you grow.

People who have never had their hearts broken will play a musical instrument in a most boring fashion. Ask anyone who's ever sung or played the blues. They'll tell you I'm right.

LOL Zombie!
So THAT is why i'm such a good singer???

What i meant was......(as i'm sure you know) most guys will say ANYTHING to get a girl to do what they want. And that's not right in my view. I NEVER did that to a girl. Not even once. But i was brought up that way. To respect girls and treat them the way i would want to be treated.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again. I think this idea is pure horseshit fed to you by bitter women for their own selfish purposes, and I feel sorry for any man who believes this lie. I think by and large men are pretty damn honest about who they are, but women choose to read into it what they want to see. Then they blame it on the men when they are finally forced to confront the fact that the fantasy they've been living was an illusion of their own devising.

I'm talking about young teens.
Yes, by the time you are an adult, you SHOULD have some idea of what's going on. But teenagers arn't mature enough to know the difference.
I had many friends that would use those lines on girls when i was a teenager. And yes, they worked. And yes, once the guys got what they wanted, they went onto their next "conquest".

And to that I say "good." This country needs more female musicians. ;)

Getting dumped, getting your heart torn out, even at a young age, is not a bad thing. We shouldn't have to protect kids from life. Life is tough. Protecting them from it backfires as it softens them to the point where when the **** hits the fan, they can't deal with it.

Kids need to learn to roll with life's punches and keep going.

Kids also need to learn to RESPECT the feelings of others. Obviously some parents don't instill those atributes in their kids either.

That might be true. They MIGHT get "payback" someday.
I just never got into purposely hurting people for my own desires.

I never understood the whole argument for "distractions" in school. It makes sense but only to a degree. For the most part, kids in school are only going to do as well as they want to, regardless of what they're doing on the side. I doubt you can realistically say that a student with a C average would have a B average if only they didn't play as many video games. It's not the video games that's the problem, it's the focus. If you took video games out of the equation it's not like that kid would immediately turn all that focus to school--in fact it would almost likely go into that kid attempting to get those video games back at all costs lol.

I've always known that if I applied myself more I could do better in school, but I never really thought getting amazing grades was that worthwhile.

Whoa. Couldn't agree with you more.

Videogames are a perfect example. A kid who spends all day playing videogames instead of studying, if you took his videogames away, he'll find some other way to waste time.

Some kids are focused. Some aren't. I'd much rather hear that my son or daughter was out having sex than playing videogames all day. At least the former was interacting with people. Videogames turn kids into social retards.

Martha Careful (10-May) : 1. this is true of all our linemen. 2. His run block is fine. 3. If all OL played like he has, we would win SB.

Mucky Tundra (9-May) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
