Jared Allen had 7.5 of his 14.5 sacks last year in two games against the Packers. More than half of his total in two games.

Not sure what my point is, but I thought it was interesting to note. 🤔

You're saying he isn't as good as advertised because those sacks were against second and third stringers, a point no Viking fan can see.

This is a matchup I can't wait to see. I want to know if Bulaga can hold up against one of the best DE's in football. If he can block him, he will probably be able to block anyone.

Another matchup I want to see is Bulaga vs. Peppers. Another great DE. IDK, I just can't wait to see him play. It will probably be a couple years, which IMO will be a good thing.

I really think that Clifton can teach him some good things. Chad has really good technique, and I hope that translates to Bryan Bulaga.

Thoughts?

Honestly, I hope that matchup waits until next year as I hope (I'm knocking on wood as I'm typing) Cliffy stays healthy for the entire 2010 season.

Bulaga may be a stud, but he's still a rookie.

I'd like to see Cliffy and Tausch play well and stay healthy this year with the young'uns backing them up and learning. Then next year have a couple of the young'uns earn starting positions with Cliffy and Tausch teaching and backing them up. The following year Cliffy and Tausch can happily and healthily ride off into the sunset awaiting their induction into the Packer Hall of Fame.
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

I personally think that this team should have complete focus on pounding that co#ksucker into the turf, hopefully on national television. I can take all the other Viking b.s.---I don't like subsidizing their bought roster, for example, but that shit is beyond the pale, for me. I don't hate anyone on the queenies except that co#ksucker, including Barney. I want that motherf#cker to be (at a minimum) embarrassed by his play against us.

I hate him. He is a cocky piece of shit that needs a solid dose of comeuppance, and I am STILL pissed that my team has utterly FAILED in delivering it. Frankly, imo, it should cost JOBS in Green Bay for that failure.

I don't like Mike (and I do like Mike) when I think of this subject.

(Wondering if Foster might rename Grandpa gopher "Jared.")

I have to admit, I think I'd like Allen if he wasn't a Viking. Reminds me sort of John Randle.

I think some of you forget that T.J. Lang faired pretty well against Jared Allen so whats not to say that our 1st round stud will not? Bryan Bulaga is a solid offensive linemen coming from a team that is constantly carrying great offensive linemen (recently).
The Hawkeye create good linemen (minus Robert Gallery, ha ha).

I have faith that when called upon Bulaga will be able to deliver against elite ends.

As bad as Gallery was at tackle he's actually one of the better lineman on the Raiders now that he plays guard.

Same, I hate that he is on the Vikings, I really do think I would like him elsewhere.
