The following three statements are not equivalent:

1. Playing the RB position requires less intelligence.
2. People who play RB generally are less intelligent.
3. RB X, who is having difficulty picking up the RB position, is less intelligent.

Zombie is saying #1.

Zombie is not saying #2.

Zombie may be saying #3 with respect to a particular RB.

But even if he is, he is still not saying #2.

Precision in language is important here, folks.

Ill say this, every single position is not easy to play in the NFL end of story. You have to be smart for every single one to be good even P/K.

It may be anecdotal, but Adrian Peterson is pretty much illiterate. Doesn't seem to stop him. Nice bloke though.

19 career fumbles, and lost 12 of them. Yikes, I hadn't known he had such a problem. Actually fumbled a chunk of that stat in his RS Freshman season with 10.

I'm not sure who's confused, but I thought that was obvious. It should be clear, the Wonderlic and IQ are not adequately related in my experience.

Zombieslayer is known to be bias towards his opinion, then he throws in he has a source, but yet doesn't provide any statistical support for his claim?

The theory is great, I'm not even doubting it's true, I just would be interested in seeing something that supports it. Something more than I have a source, but can't get'em in trouble.

I'd even be interested in seeing a list of the 32 starters at each position and their Wonderlic score. That'd be neat.

lol yeah that's an understatement!

I guess I don't think anyone has a right to speak about someone elses intelligence unless they really know them. I think it's highly disrespectful and tacky. As I said though, I wouldn't doubt that LT and QB have a higher Wonderlic score than RB by average and I think that's all zombieslayer is really trying to say. I'd just like something to show it, tis all.

Is that why McCarthy is always saying "we're going to be smart about this..."?
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?
