I thought that this was the first year Driver was seriously hampered by injuries. I would say that if it happens again, we move on. Until then, see if he bounces back.

If he doesn't then let him go. If he does, he will make it worth keeping him around for a while.

It is probable the production slip was from the injuries not slowing down. However, that could be masking a slowing down. There is also no way to tell if the the injuries are because of age or just because of football.

This year and maybe this pre season will tell.

Mike & Ted will decide if it's injuries or age with Driver that slowed down his performance. If I had to make a bet today, I'd say he's on the Packers. With our scheme, he has an important role. I'm guessing the question is if he's #3 or #4, depending on how Cobb pans out in his first year.

Jordy of course has youth on his side. Both are superb route runners. Both are gamers. Both have huge hearts.

But we'll see. Driver's numbers did drop a lot in 2010 and that was my concern. Age is cruel to a football player. I'm really hoping it was just injuries slowing him down. I really want to be wrong.

That's an interesting statement.

I'm not sure Donald Driver is as fast as Jordy Nelson. I'd definitely say Donald makes cuts smoother than Jordy.

Not a cut.. but does anyone else have a feeling that Flynn may be dealt here soon.. has a good game under his belt against a top tier team and we will only "control" his rights for a short time longer..

Think Matt Hasselbeck and Aaron Brooks... or Mark Brunnell..

As for the WR race, my money's on Chery.
