That message ^^^ confused the hell out of me. Hey I'm going this way, errrr a message later I'm going this way!!!

I know little about this, but it appears the Vikings are gone anyway, so who cares? Their own state doesn't even want to help keep them around.

Vikings will leave to something like Los Angeles and in five-eight years the NFL will bring in another team or two, one being the Minnesota Waffles.

Go weddle yourself over that!

Who said anything about your team? I sure as hell didn't. Oh wait, I forgot.. The correct way for me to act is jump on the winning team's bandwagon. At least that way I would never have to use any excuse for poor play from any team. [grin1]

Weddle shouldn't have to compensate for Minny's backup CBs, only cover whatever range he would be given as determined by the defensive call. He certainly can't be worse than Minny's current S corp..

The people in MN that harp on the Vikings using public money are really un-informed and need to actually read the last stadium bill that was drawn up. Anyone outside of Ramsey county will not pay a cent more of taxes that would go to the new stadium.. Unless they bought NFL gear or lottery tickets.

It's people in Ramsey county that have a legitimate gripe.

Oh, and great play on words in that last sentence.. lol

I admit, I know nothing about it really, other than the TEAM wants the state to pitch in. When the Packers asked the surrounding counties for help, a half percent sales tax, I was all for it. I couldn't believe some of the folks who were pissed about it. I guess there was something with property taxes that I wasn't aware of.

I think the state should help, but not finance the whole thing. I don't like the Vikings, but I dislike teams moving FAR more.

But that's all I've heard, and nothing official because of the shut down. Now it's about getting the MN Governor to call a second special session to draft the details of the deal.

He was a Profootballfocus All-Pro free safety. So it's safe to say (no pun intended) that this guy is a beast. I really, really hope the Vikes don't snatch him up.

Yeah, I wouldn't like this. Their safety situation has been a showing of mediocrity and this'd fix quite a bit.
