He almost took a punt to the house too. It been a long long time since we've had a returner like him.

Actually, in the post-game interview Cobb said Kuhn "picked (him) up".

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

Bush did do a nice job of tackling Cobb on the end of that run. Kudos to Bush.

I know I was grinning from ear to ear when we drafted. I had seen some mock drafts where we selected him with our first pick so I did a little homework and thought he would be able to fill the Percy Harvin role in our offense. Cobb has a lot of potential to subplant the receivers above him on the depth chart. Now I want to see some of Alex Green in 3rd down screen passes.

Lets hope over the course of time this thread doesn't turn into a "Dear John" type letter... you know like happens so quickly if the players doesn't become a superstar or elite, but is a solid contributor to the team.

Examples of such can be found littered on the forum and our team.

  • Grant
  • Jones
  • Shields - yes those are in the infancy after a preseason and a game.
  • Quarless

Examples of expectations/hype not meeting reality and seems to blind the value said players bring to the team.
