Davon House: First action ever!

Davon House should be getting his first action as a pro. Think he'll hold up? I like him, but I think he needs to mature a little as a player. He needs to be able to stay on the field, and he needs to learn how to be more physical.

Hopefully he can step in and we dont miss a beat just like last year. When opportunity knocks the next guy in line needs to open the door wide.

If House plays then who sits on the inactive list in his place?

Sounds like Williams has a 50-50 shot of playing.

I'm really interested in this kid's potential. He seems to have the size, athleticism, and instincts that a good CB needs. Is biggest problems seem to be staying healthy and being more physical in both the run game and bumping WRs off the line. Fortunately, he has a good examples of how physical DBs can excel (ie. Woodson, Tramon).

This has been going well for us for a while now, having unproven players step up and contribute, and provide depth. Hopefully House will continue the trend.

That's a testiment to the coaching staff and their ability to prepare the players. I'm continually impressed with the entire Packer organization.

Like most rookies he is a work in progress. In the end he should do fine.

Unfortunately, NFL.com is reporting him inactive on the NFL Inactives list. Will have to wait a while longer.

I'd just keep House on ST right now.

Sure, he has all the tools, but the same story can be said about Pat Lee.
