Zombo approached this injury differently than other players have in the past. Frank insisted on only wearing a sling for 1 day, as opposed to babying his injury in a sling for 2 weeks.
“The doctors and trainers believed that the more I use it, the more it stresses the area and my body will realize it’s weak and send more resources to the area,” Zombo said.
Frank credits this as the main reason reason hes back in practice after only 6 weeks, when given a timetable of 8-12 weeks.
According to Frank, “If they needed me to go, I could easily go. It is completely up to them. I don’t know when it’s going to be.”
Now, the linebacker says he is ready to play Sunday in Atlanta.
