I saw this on another website. It amazes me how people think that they can say/type whatever they want.

D****,
I have gotten your point but you cannot run this website like a dictator because you disagree with someone's view point which they are entitled to. My post was not in bad taste nor violate any of the (website) terms and agreements. I have been posting at this website for nearly four years and have never done anything or sad anything that would offend anyone. Therefore, I'm asking you to reconsider your "ban" on me and immediately reinstate me or tell me what or how I violated any of the above agreements. If you choose not to reinstate me, I will have no choice but pursue legal action with you and the websites sponsor. There is such a thing in this country called the First Amendment which allows freedom of speech. I hope we don't have to pursue legal remedies which will cost us both timeless hours and money. Again, I'm asking you to reconsider your "ban" for no reason on me.

Sincerely,
[name redacted]

Several people, including a judge, were quick point out that freedom of speech is not a private sector guarantee. It is a guarantee that the government will not hinder your freedom to express yourself.

It's not just the internet. We, of course, have the Right to any opinion we want and to express it openly.

We do not have the right to take over public or private property, cause damage to anything, or violate the Rights of others.

The Occupy Wall Street movement and Recall Scott Walker are examples of flakes and morons who think it's fine to trample over others with mob rule.

There's a reason why nobody in this damn government can put aside politics and work together, and it's because nobody in this damn country (or world) can get over themselves for long enough to look at things from a halfway objective perspective.

I really think what is going on in our country was unstoppable. I believe all the tax laws in the country since the days of Saint Reagan have benefit a very small group of people who have lost their souls, they never gave back, and the trickle down economics has never worked. By nature, I am a conservative person - but I just cannot ignore the obvious larceny of the right wing. Technically it was all legal, morally it's the same old story about fucking the poor. I don't believe our Christian nation was meant to do this. There should be enough wealth in this country for people not to go hungry or without basic health care. But at the same time - there should be no handouts. Abled bodied men and women should not have mailbox shaped trucker hats waiting for a check for doing nothing.

Half of what I watch on TV whether it be Fox or MSNBC, I have great speculation on whether it is the truth or even half truth. People that follow the propaganda from whichever side tend to lose credibility with me, because then I consider them sheeple. The one thing I think both sides can agree is that the people we send to DC are incredibly influenced by the PACs so what we end up with is corruption, and there is no other way to see it. But at the end of the day, we still need to respect our government and pray that they make decisions that in the best interest of our country as a whole. What we've had going on since the election of 2010 is complete gridlock and the sabotage of a presidency. If Obama wins again in 2012, this needs to stop; but I doubt very much anything will.

My biggest peave about the economics of the US right now, is all of the tax evasion that has been allowed to happen with the aidd of Swiss banks. I don't even want to know the number, but I have really good idea that our deficit could be wiped out if those tax dollars were collected.

Your hypocrisy runs rampant.

While I agreed with vegOmatic on his comments of the original topic, when I disagreed with his OWS and recall Walker statement, that makes me an idiot with a seldom used brain...interesting.
So, you are implying that if I vehemently disagree with his opinions that I am am an idiot.
Then you turn around and state that I should put myself in "others shoes" and "look at things from a halfway objective perspective."
...that would tend one to believe that any thoughts that do not fit into your all-knowing perspective, should not to be allowed.

I have read your thoughts on other politically-charged threads/topics and your sanctimonious comments this time would almost be amusing, were they so so pathetically hypocritical.

(watching vikesrule and DakotaT outdoing each other in their rich-people-bashing)

1. The government isn't entitled to tax. Nor is it Robin Hood, charged with taking money from the rich and give it to the poor.
2. Greed is a horribly corrupting sin. But so is envy and its bastard stepchild, the modern sense of entitlement.
3. If I had any wealth to speak of, I'd be pushing a significant part of it offshore, too.
4. Watching TV news -- any TV news, from MSNBC to CNN to CBS to FOX to PBS -- is worse than a waste of time. It'll rot your brain cells.
5. Power corrupts. Those who pursue power are not your friends. Ever.
6. America was great when it remembered that it's not about empowerment, it's about limiting power. When it recognized that government was not about justice and making lives better, merely a necessary evil to keep people from beating each other up and to ensure they kept their contractual promises. Now it's just another empire in decline waiting for its Suez to knock it out of its misery.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Martha Careful (10-May) : 1. this is true of all our linemen. 2. His run block is fine. 3. If all OL played like he has, we would win SB.

Zero2Cool (9-May) : Packers have claimed DE Spencer Waege off of waivers from the 49ers and waived DT Rodney Mathews.

Mucky Tundra (9-May) : 4th
Zero2Cool (9-May) : because he's 1st
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
