So while on the surface to say he hasnt won them a game in 4th q sounds logical, but it really doesnt look that way when you look at each individual game and situation

Agreed to a point.. but in the same light.. we haven't got it done. Period.

You say the Charger game was more Jennings.. maybe.. maybe not.

But this team had that magic last year.. this offense that is..

The variable is only one between the offense last year and this in terms of the players.. hence my point....

We are a top notch offense under Rodgers.. haven't missed much of a beat.. except in the final two minutes.

Again.. can't say with clarity where the magic went.. the variables are vast and sample is limited.. and it doesn't happen every time.. so maybe the stars haven't aligned yet..

But for clarity's sake.. I don't pin the loses on Rodgers.. he has played his part in getting this team in position to win games.. just hasn't been able to carry the team to victory on his right arm only yet.

McNabb took his team to 4 consecutive Championship games, making it to one SB. Had he had a Reggie White type player on defense his legacy would be completely different.

If you want to bring up McNabb's propensity to choke there is a similar avenue the GBP's can reflect on.

I think this may be the most nit-picky post ever to be honest.

The guy's a first time starter. I remember well watching another first year starter here years ago who threw rediculous INT's where there wasn't a receiver even close or was it so long ago people can't recall Holmgren on the sidelines so pissed off he looked like a tomatoe with ears.

This same QB EVOLVED into one that had the ability to bring the team back. But he certainly didn't come out of the shute doing it that's for sure and can assure you as well there were MANY more last minute INT's than game winning TD's or was last years NFC Championship game too far back for some to recall as well?

That's not a cut on the other guy either. It's simply not easy and doesn't happen often and the reality of it is the BEST of the BEST fail in this position far more than they succeed.

Quite possibly.. I own that..

As far as coming out of the shute.. wasn't his first game a game winner against a Bengal team?

Or there is another first year player in Atlanta showing signs of this..

But you are correct.. probably unfair to a point..

I grow tried of talking about the real issues on this team only to see the boys along the line of scrimmage make the same mistakes weekly and the coaching staff do little to correct them.. so why not grind the ax on some piddly point.

An observation and chatter.. nothing more.

okay magic i can agree with..

but why do you insist on saying he hasnt got them a win yet?

Not his fault that Mason missed a kick...

I have a feeling if Mason made that 53 yarder, people would be saying Aaron Rodgers is lucky mason made it..

Yep.. Agreed.. I concede the Viking game..

Problem solved.. Rodgers has "it".. next.

My underlying hope was proved out, we made it three complete pages without it turning into a holy war and many have brought enough proper points to refer back to at the end of the season when every troll in the states will come out pinning the blame for the season squarely on Rodgers.

This concludes the test.

Nope feel free.. I will continue to harp on the basic issue at hand as well.

I hit the feed up level earlier this season with the Oline.. I swear upon my left pinkie toe if we don't address that line.. I may just lop it off. 😉
