The Packers made it official today when they announced they've hired Alonzo Dotson as a college scout.

Who the hell is Alonzo Dotson?
I'd like to know something about him besides his name.

The Packers have hired Alonzo Dotson as a college scout. He is the nephew of the former Packer and member of the 1996 Super Bowl championship team, Santana Dotson.

The Green Bay Packers have hired Alonzo Dotson as a college scout. The announcement was made Wednesday by Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations.

Dotson spent the past two seasons working with defensive quality control at the University of Houston. Prior to that, he served as an assistant coach at Madison High School in Houston for two years.

Dotson lettered three times as a defensive end (2004, 2006-07) at the University of Oklahoma, where he was a member of three Big 12 championship teams. A native of Houston, Dotson graduated from Oklahoma with a degree in sociology and a minor in African-American studies

I opened this thread thinking it was going to be Earl Dotson. Would be nice to have an OT scouting OL talent.
