Aaron Rodgers and New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees earned the most among all NFL players this past 12 months — based solely on their earned salaries, bonuses, prize money, appearance fees and licensing and endorsement incomes. Brees earned $51 million, while Rodgers was right behind him at $49 million — Rodgers' recent contract extension [...]

Three things come to mind: 1. The people on top SHOULD be on top (Romo and Rice maybe being slight exceptions). 2. Athletes in general are way overpaid. However, we have economic freedom/free enterprise capitalism, so great, that's what the Law of Supply and Demand says they should make. 3. Of all the names on there, WE - Packer fans - got the best bargain of all in Aaron Rodgers. A resounding YES to the question they ask at the end of the article.

Another reason, of course, is laziness hahahaha. Pertinent to this thread, however, is that fact that I was basically without talent, in terms of sports or anything else that derives big income.

You like to talk about a "level playing field"; It doesn't strike you as just a little bit unlevel, the fact that neither you nor I can throw like Aaron Rodgers or dunk a basketball or hit a 95 mph fastball? I can live with that unlevelness because I believe in the law of supply and demand - if there was a bigger supply of NFL-quality QBs or agile 7 footers or whatever, then they wouldn't earn so damn much money. In that sense, it's fair, but I sure wouldn't call it level. I'm 5'11; I can dribble and handle a B-ball a little bit; I can shoot 3's lights out even at my age; I always figured I could really be Dirk Nowitzski - if God had just made me a foot taller hahahahaha.

Zero2Cool (13-May) : Sources spoke of many, many times last summer where Hackett called a play, then Rodgers changed it completely at the line
Martha Careful (10-May) : 1. this is true of all our linemen. 2. His run block is fine. 3. If all OL played like he has, we would win SB.
beast (10-May) : Meyers pass blocking is really good, his run blocking is really not.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : Packers have claimed DE Spencer Waege off of waivers from the 49ers and waived DT Rodney Mathews.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : And the OL protections seem to be good.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : I really don't know lol. I don't see him getting blown up.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : -3 buwahhhahaaha
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : 4th
Zero2Cool (9-May) : because he's 1st
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
