And all Rodgers had been able to do was watch from the sideline, listen on the coaching headsets and, at one point, toss away his clipboard in disgust.

So, he was asked, would he be back for the team’s next game, Dec. 8 against Atlanta?

“Count on it,” came the reply in the little gray bubble.

Then, mere seconds later, more gray bubbles.

“Hold on,” he wrote. “Lemme think.”

Rodgers has said multiple times that the Packers’ record and playoff odds will not influence him coming back; he has vowed to play again this season regardless. He said so again Thursday, knowing he has four games – vs. Atlanta Dec. 8, at Dallas Dec. 15, vs. Pittsburgh Dec. 22 and at Chicago Dec. 29 – remaining.

“We’ve got 10 days until the Atlanta game,” he wrote. “That should be long enough.”

Strange how more in here are soaking up the negativity of media shit heads and ignoring this - which would seem to be first hand info.

and I still don't care what anyone says! :-p

I will wait for the injury report to come out this week to see Rodgers as a full participant before I think or feel anything about this 🙂

If there is anything learned through these last 6 games, we 've come to know what a great impact Aaron Rodgers has on this Packers team, and all of the areas outside of QB that require attention.

Should Rodgers come back and the Packers miraculously win the division, GB will be a very hot team to contend with in the playoffs. That underscored by this staff addressing our problem areas.

We'll see.

IMO we have no chance in hell of making the playoffs even if Rodgers does return if the defense doesn't improve as well. Rodgers can do a lot and with him our offense is certainly one of the best but our defense is playing like a bunch of amateurs right now. Can Aaron Rodgers lead this team to victory in a shootout? Yes he can. Can he lead them to victories in 4 shootouts? I don't know. That would be a tall order even for Superaaron.

He is on par with Adam Schefter reporting. I like them both.

Now, seeing Rodgers say what he is saying is promising but is this just HIM speaking? This is a three headed decision...Rodgers, medical staff and coaching staff from what I understand. So sure, Rodgers is saying he is going to play but I am not going to get my hopes up just because a media guy (who a lot of people had to look up) reported that Rodgers said he was going to play.

He hasn't been cleared yet. When that happens, we can [cheers]
