I don't want to see Mike McCarthy gone. But if we're 6-10 next year...
Now to answer your question - who would I want if he were let go? Right now, no one except for the two people you just said I couldn't pick.

My bottom line (not-so-cleverly hidden), of course, is that there isn't anyone out there
that the Packers can get who's a real improvement over McCarthy. If all we want is a scapegoat for a disappointing year, that's a different story. Then again, the teams who switch coaches like they change socks don't tend to be in the mix come playoff time, so that looks like an endless spiral to me.
And if the team is 6-10 or the like next year, I can almost guarantee you I'll be calling for McCarthy's head myself.
