No... more like 4.45 or so... he just looks faster because he's really small and quick.

And Harris is no Sproles and Sproles is no Harris...

Sproles is a 5'6" WR in the back-field. He has no power, and needs space and open field to get work or he's done. (kind of like Franklin, though as Franklin, Cobb and Sproles have shown a WR in the backfield can work if you protect them, use them wisely and get them extra spot to work their quickness, speed and magic.)(also Franklin showed he could effectively block which surprised me, it wasn't great but it was decent and good enough).

Harris is a true small RB with surprising power for his size and while he's no short yardage back he can run between the tackles normally and work at times with no space and make something happen out of nothing.

If I recall, Harris has that 4.3 type speed, doesn't he? I know Mike wanted him to be a Darren Sproles type dude. Wouldn't surprise me a bit. He's a little on the short side, though.

Harris's 40 time was 4.37. But yes, he's got power too.

As for Franklin, the dude isn't a WR in the backfield. He's a legit runner.

Edit: I checked it out further and it seems like troymessenger.com (the local newspaper) reported the 4.37 time for Harris' proday. While looking at their numbers and nfldraftscout numbers they don't match up and troymessengers numbers seem faster for all the players. I don't know who's right for sure.

My point was I think Sproles and Cobb are WRs... and Franklin is athletic enough he could be used like a WR. Though Franklin did seem to lack power, he was able to make things out of nothing at times against the Bengals.

From my understanding Harris' 4.37 was an unofficial time at practice. (and some players never match their unofficial times with official times).

Harris' proday time was reported as 4.44 according to nfldraftscout.com . Also note his reported 10 yard time, of 1.44 which is super quick.
