According to a person familiar with Slocum’s instructions on the sideline, one of the last things he told his hands team before the play was this: "If your name isn't Jordy Nelson or Micah Hyde, don't try to field the ball." Of course, we all know that Brandon Bostick, who was released earlier this week, tried to catch it and failed, allowing the Seahawks to recover.

More bullshit from the Vic Ketchman "players not plays" brigade. If there was accountability on this staff, players would have to, you know, DO THEIR JOBS or they wouldn't continue to be out there.

Coaches aren't there to just call plays and assume the players are going to execute them. It is the staff's RESPONSIBILITY to get the players to succeed. At least theoretically. Not sure if that is the case with this team, this staff.

These ST have shit themselves for years, but this season was the worst ever.

I'm sure he told them to not allow absurd numbers of blocked kicks and to just not suck in general for his entire tenure. Too bad he just couldn't coach them not to do those things.

Or at least, I think they could and should have done better.
