I have some software concepts that would be great to run on Linux, but Wine doesn't seem to play nice for me. It's easier to sell a product to someone on a machine that costs $150 without an OS charge of $100 on top of it. Especially when the software runs autonomously. I keep trying from time to time though lol. Cuz if I can get it, I'll be in good shape!

Of course, I could just learn to code in whatever the heck Linux recognizes.

Pretty impressed with the engineering sample of this we got. Not sure what you used it for, but the Windows 8.1 version is ~$150 and runs 1920x1080 adobe air apps with some 3d elements and h264 video pretty alright. You're not going to use it for gaming but it's damn nice. I think the Android version is $100.

Windows 8 is a complete piece of shit, imo.

I spent a CRAP LOAD of money getting my wife a new Dell touch screen. It could be Dell, but I DOUBT IT.

P O S

fucking hate it.

Posted on my ancient windows 7 desktop that always works perfectly. HAS to be at least 3 years old, which is like 50, in tekkie years.

Your favorite website admin is a developer and has zero issues developing on Windows 7 or 8. I'm going to assume your developer friend uses a lot of 3rd party controls instead of their own code. Which is one reason I despise 3rd party controls and won't use them. They are too unpredictable.

As for your Dell, it is Dell that's the problem. Those vendors install tons of crap ware that kill your system.

And I do thank Bill Gates and recognized years ago that if it weren't for his innovation, I'd still be doing General Labor work for a living. I lucked out into a valuable skill/talent or whatever one may call it.

I think that icon is allowing you to reserve a early spot in line to receive the 3GB download. The release is July 29th. I'll be upgrading my workstation at home, but not my two media PC's because Microsoft are jerks and removed Windows Media Center software. And I use that to record TV shows.

I am often given crap for how many programs I have running at the same time and my Windows 8 machine holds up perfect, but at work my Windows 7 machine needed to be ramped up to 12GB of ram. Hopefully he gets that ironed out though. Sluggish OS is dogcrap city and frustrating.

And thanks. Is that cuz I'm the only one you know that hasn't banned you permanently? lol

Oh, no... you have a beautiful site. Best one going. Ever seen x4 website...that might be the worst one I've ever seen. Packerrats ain't much better. This one is the gold standard in my eyes.

Double oh...I'm sure you'll ban me, permanently, one day not too far off. I'll enjoy it while it lasts. I can still read when I'm stripped of access.

All you people bitching about Windows 8 should just do a little reading and see you can download windows 7 shell which for the most part turns your laptop or desktop into the old windows 7 style you are used to. I hated going thru all the aps in 8 and then Best buy actually suggested classic shell and thats what i use
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Martha Careful (31-May) : I have never seen an OTA, but who is lining up at LT and RG with starters? or is it all individual drills?
Zero2Cool (30-May) : Bears are the first team to be selected for Hard Knocks
dfosterf (29-May) : Andy Herman and his Pack a day podcast put up GB strengths yesterday. This morning he did weaknesses. They are both very good.

Zero2Cool (13-May) : I know we moved on. That tidbit just makes me a touch happier.
Zero2Cool (13-May) : Sources spoke of many, many times last summer where Hackett called a play, then Rodgers changed it completely at the line
Martha Careful (10-May) : 1. this is true of all our linemen. 2. His run block is fine. 3. If all OL played like he has, we would win SB.
beast (10-May) : Meyers pass blocking is really good, his run blocking is really not.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : Packers have claimed DE Spencer Waege off of waivers from the 49ers and waived DT Rodney Mathews.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : And the OL protections seem to be good.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : I really don't know lol. I don't see him getting blown up.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : -3 buwahhhahaaha
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : 4th
Zero2Cool (9-May) : because he's 1st
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
