I read somewhere about a guy who said he couldn't enjoy this Superbowl as much because Favre wasn't a part of the team. Seriously.

There was something about Murphy saying he knows when Thompson plans on retiring (or at least stepped own as GM)... he didn't give any hints on when...

But my random guess was that means Thompson isn't planning on asking for another contract and he'll step down with this one, which I think has three years left.

My oldest son who lives in
Idaho and is a huge Packers fan just texted me saying that he had just watched
an interview with Thompson.
He wondered if Ted was drunk or if he had suffered a stroke.
Weird because he has been a Thompson defender at every turn of the road.
