I'd like to see all the tax money going to the DOD to be given to feed our starving children. 1 in 5 American kids goes hungry every day, but we have this kind of money to waste on a fancy version of the Star Spangled Banner? This "Christian" country has extremely messed up priorities.

I'm fine with the tax money going towards defense, if appropriately spent. I'd advocate more for lower salaries for the chair weights in office and utilize it towards bettering our youth. We all preach the youth is the future, yet seems we're more concerned with our own future at times.

Maybe if Stadiums went the way of the Falcons (this is new) in concessions people wouldn't need the cool flyovers as a selling point to attend a game in person.

It's the kind that takes money out of the pockets of people like you and I and fills the pockets of the aforementioned. But the real crime is all the bloodshed of poor kids who go into the service and make this ponzi scheme possible. Then they can't even take care of the ones that come home wounded, because the money isn't paid back into the government through taxation.

But don't take my word for it, do some research of your own.

I think some of it needs to be funnels into wounded warriors or other such programs that support folks in their transition from active combat back to civilian life.

And people need to start taking notice to how their state's Representatives and Senators vote on these kind of issues.
