The biggest issue I have with this move is Masthay's ability to hold for Crosby. They trot Crosby on the field for 50-60 yard attempt with a guy who has 1-2 weeks to practice with him (or if they are going a different route at holder-- Hundley?). I can't think about who they had as a back-up.

These two have almost identical numbers but the trust Masthay and Crosby built is hard to look past.

We'll for fir it in 4th down this season. So we don't need a punter, so we cut Mashtay and got some cap space.
The Schum-thing is just a smoke screen to keep the other teams in the dark.

Only Mike, Ted and some guys in a Packers forum know this.
