Great read. One of two things happen here... Mike finds ways to make the playbook diverse and the packers get better or the Packers move on to Alex Van Pelt as the new Head Coach of the Packers this year.

No compromise. Watching the Patroits showed me how much a great coach can do. Mike, figure it out.

This Brit says the scheme is flawed, then shows a bunch of clips with receivers open, WTF. Supposedly, “The Packers run an off-script, non-rhythmic offense;” but you’d never know it by watching the plays GB runs. Look at the Nagler thread: GB’s plays are highly scripted and choreographed. I guess he thinks the scheme is flawed because every receiver every play is not getting open; also that Ted Williams hit .400 and sucks because he failed 6 of 10 times; or Stephon Diggs had a horrible game v. GB because he was open less than 1/3 of passing plays.

In a Podcast  explaining the article. He says there no structure to GB’s offense because Rodgers needs to look all over the field to find the open man. The guy clearly has no idea what a progression is or how the GB offense works; actually, the guy doesn’t understand a thing about football. Amazingly, he also said it’s a chicken and egg problem, that he doesn’t know if offensive failure is due to the scheme or Rodgers’ execution in the scheme.

So if he doesn’t know whether its the scheme or Rodgers play, why the caustic headline toward McCarthy? Answer, he’s just a lonely Brit with esteem issues because his British Empire has dwindled from a place where the sun never set to a tiny dirty over-crowded little polluted island void of all natural species of plants and animals. The televising or playing football in England must cease immediately, British dopes spreading their opinions is more dangerous than Denge fever.

NFL D coordinators are smart; it will only take them AT MOST one offseason to figure out and destroy any flawed offensive system. The system worked for 10 years: Favre had his best year in almost 10 years; made a rookie Rodgers look great; made puss arm Matt Flynn look like a starting caliber NFL QB to John Schneider, who just moved to Seattle from GB. In games Seneca Wallace started his passer rating was 87.5 and the talentless rookie newcomer to GB, Tolzien, was 24-34-339 in the only game he started and completed. Today Rodgers’ PR is 82 and it’s the systems fault? WRONG!

GB's system is better, the only reason why it is not out performing NE's is because GB's QB refuses to execute the system and Brady executes the system.

Reading this article was depressing, I wish I hadn't read it.
I'm tired of the whole "we have some guys working that haven't been working together much" excuses.
Bradford hadn't worked much with the Vikings and he looked better than Rodgers.
The Patriots started third string rookie last night and he destroyed the Texans highly thought of defense.
So please save the "rusty" excuses and play and coach like winners instead of whining.

Aaron DOES have progressions, and the footwork he is neglecting is based on timing, with reference to those progressions.

It's just that Aaron is not adhering to the offense. He's pulling a Bert, because Mike and Ted won't give him the keys to the franchise. It's a simple power play. Aaron won't "try hard" until they give him control.

It's the natural outgrowth of 1: catering to his statwhoring all those years, followed by 2: making his personal yesman the playcaller last year.

They need to either sit him down, convince him to get with "the program" or trade him.

This General Manager and Head Coach have fallen into the same trap that Mike Sherman has been roundly criticized for.
But when you're staking your very large pay check on one guy, he has you by the balls.
Thompson and McCarthy would be assistants in Cleveland without Rodgers.

That was all result of having the deepest WR group that greatly outmatched opposing secondaries.

The offense today is also not the same as it was with Farve or Rodgers as a rookie. Back in the day when we actually ran slants.
