Our beloved random team got some snow, and snow introduces more randomness, fumbles, slippery field conditions, missed extra points, you name it. In the art of random randomness we got away with victory. The Texans, granted, played a terrible game and we weren't brilliant but a win is a win.
The Glass Half Full:
- Morgan Burnett: I've criticized him a lot but today he played a fantastic game, he played more safety than the hybrid lb-ss position concocted by Capers. He was all over the place.
- Jordy Nelson: When he was healthy he was capable of winning a game on his own, today he did just that, sure hands, sure routes and all the conversions you need to get a drive going.
- Aaron Ripkowski: Now I really really like this kid, he is just intrepid, if we can get him more involved in the offense and he practices pass catching then we can have a very interesting weapon.
- Ladarius Gunter: Don't look, don't ask, don't even try to think about it but he is today our best cover guy. Wow.
The Glass Half Empty:
- Demarius Randall: This kid is starting to scare me, Gunter totally outplayed him, yes Ladarius Gunter. Randall was bad in coverage and tackling, often standing around without even attempting to participate in the play.
- James Starks & Christine Michael: Maybe James is hurt, maybe Christine really can't get the pass protection, whatever the problem is the two of them can't even make one decent RB for our team.
Not a lot of players to highlight this week our team was even, not great but certainly better than Houston. Feel free to add your glasses!
