Why does Fox, white supremacy, and the alt right get brought up in reply to an actual quote from CK7?

Villanueva was certainly pressured to make a statement regarding his actions. You applaud a person who caved and long for a world where everyone caves to peer and public pressure? Sounds like someone has latent dictatorial fantasies.

CK7 spoke for himself way back when but look not only what this has morphed into but how what he said is being spun by those with agendas and higher aspirations.

People so lathered up supposedly about others disrespecting the Anthem that they boo. It's not disrespectful to boo during the Anthem? I think that's a lot worse than respectfully protesting, right?

Why dont these same people get all lathered up about pink cancer awareness week stuff? that has nothing to do with football and ya gotta look at all that pink stuff all game.

Dodgers were expecting 26K for their 1947 opener, which was also Jackie Robinson's first game. There were 6K no shows; but the stands were filled with thousands of Blacks dressed in their Sunday bests, most of whom were attending their first opener. So at east 1/3, maybe 1/2, of White Dodgers fans boycotted.

Dodgers fans were making a real big deal that Robinson was allowed to play, they were all lathered up that baseball was being disrupted. The game really wasn't disrupted, was it? They wouldn't boycott if Rickey started his 8 YO grandson at 2nd base, would they? Because fan outrage had nothing to do with disrupting the game, though in '47 you could be a bit more honest about your racial objections.

You see, liberals don't believe in "free speech", they believe in THEIR right of free speech.
Trump spoke how he feels about this. He's not a liberal, this how DARE he speak.
Nothing will change until African Americans teach their kids that there are consequences for their actions, and to respect authority.
Not ANY white person can change this.

So ONE person points out ONE time where a bad cop did wrong. How about the thousands where it wasn't the cops fault?
Like I said over and over, DO WHAT THE COP TELLS YOU, and 99.9% of the time there won't be a problem.
Seems some would rather ignore this fact. Easier to crucify the police.

The reason CK(unemployed) took a knee was exactly what his quote said it was about. That can't be changed. EVER. It's locked in for all time. He felt the police were wrongly killing innocent African Americans. It doesn't matter what you say, I say, or even what he says now.

As a white man, I see this not a whole lot different than the OJ trial. Yes, there is racism in this world from all races. Yes, there are some police officers of all races who misuse their position. However, you can never put a blanket on this and act like every time a person of color is shot by police is racism. The ratio of claimed racism vs. actual racism is astronomically high. Michael Bennett was not profiled. It wasn't about race. It wasn't about race the night I was laying face down on the pavement with bright lights in my eyes over an innocent situation that looked bad to the police. I understood why they thought I was robbing the town's grocery store but I worked there and had forgotten to bar the back door. I left the car running and went back in to lock and when I came to shut the car off because I was then locked in, I nearly had my head blown off. Had I been black, I could've hollered racism. No. Reasonable for police to conclude what I was doing was suspicious.

Thousands of interactions with police happen every few minutes across this country. You get to see the most explosive every once in awhile. You conclude based off a miniscule amount of admittedly bad police behavior that white cops hate black people and are looking for reasons to shoot them? This is the dream team's line of thinking and tack in the OJ trial. Play the race card hard. Hard. Keep saying it over and over and over until it is accepted as a fact that white police hate black people.

Now, it's about equality? Please. It was never about equality, it got there due to compromise. Teams/players had no clue how to handle this for the vast majority of them, so they went with a vanilla let's all be unified. The real reason isn't lost on anyone why these demonstrations are happening.

Unity is a beautiful thing. Here's what's interesting to me. Aaron Rodgers BACKED into a corner due to his lofty position in the NFL came up with a compromise to avoid dealing with this issue. He took a lot of heat for it. All of sudden here comes a release from Packers PR written by Martellus Bennett under the guise that it's the "Packers Players"???????? Right. Ironic that the man who took a 15 yard penalty for "his QB" is now penning a note that is passed off from all the players? There were 3 Packers who chose not to stand. One of them wrote this release and the 42 who stood all agree with what one who didn't stand wrote? No. In what universe would that logically follow? It's pure contrived PR, period. It moves focus off Rodgers, off police picking on blacks and onto the fans. Also, so ironic that the man playing Switzerland, in Rodgers, has given his game tix to the police? LOL Pure PR. It's really sad. I love unity when it is the only unity that can be...from the heart and legit. Feigned unity is a PC disgrace and good for absolutely nothing.

The anthem is for ALL Americans.

There will always be racism. Blacks profiling white police as racists if they get pulled over is racism in itself. Of course that fact is ignored.
But some pick and choose what they feel backs up what they want to believe.
Yes, there are some bad cops. But the blanket statements I see here and in the media is the same as saying "all African American are criminals". The majority of bad cops is small, as the majority of African Americans being criminals is small.
