I couldn't help sighing longingly as I watched Case Keenum stepping up adroitly in the pocket whenever he was under pressure this past Sunday. It would be so nice to have a quarterback who kept his eyes downfield when the stallions are closing in instead of sprinting for the nearest sideline the moment he hears the pounding hooves. Need I remind anyone that Rodgers was hurt while rolling out?

Recorded it, but the original is below. Check the 14:20 mark if you want better video/audio.

The OL hasn't been all that bad for Hundley. He's averaged holding the ball a full second longer than Rodgers even. Guys are there early in plays but he doesn't let it go.

McCarthy is stubborn he always has been. Sometimes it works out for him sometimes it doesn't. I have no doubt he thinks he's always making the right choices but sometimes it's ok to scrap a plan that didn't work early on. He was pretty quick to dump Clements and take back play calling for himself though even though it didn't really help.

When evaluating a young QB’s play; your first observation concerns whether or not he makes plays and Hundley has made bunch; some really nice HOF type reads and throws. And you dont evaluate only by results because much of evaluation process concerns judging the ability to improve and how fast. EG, He made a great hot read against Ravens, but threw the ball like crap to Adams. This is a bad result, but physical mistakes will decrease as his head for the game improves. Every QB makes good and bad plays, what defines a good/bad QB is the difference in the percentage of good to bad plays. Rookie QBs tend to make more good and less bad plays as they gain experience. Some QB’s “get it” pretty quick, some like Keenum or Warner take years.

The decimated OL has been playing just like Hundley. He’ll make 2-3 throws out of 4 or 5 in perfect rhythm, footwork, snap release and accuracy and then he reverts to indecisive and confused for large swaths of the game. Several of these great throws are under great pressure. The OL will block great 1or 2 out of 8 plays, then stink for 1 or 2 out of 8 and be pedestrian for the rest. The OL playing consistently well will allow: Hundley’s brain to be cluttered with one less thing; once in rhythm, he’ll be able to stay in rhythm much longer if he’s not getting knocked on his ass 3 plays out of 6; and some of his big plays won’t be stolen from him. EG Kendricks was 15 yards open for TD on that 2nd Raven INT, if the OL played well on that play; Hundley makes that throw and the entire game changes with GB up 7-0. I like the way Hundley bounces back after getting smacked, but when he gets smacked on 3-4-5 plays in a row he seems to lose his cool.

The OL’s inconsistency is making Hundley more inconsistent than he’d otherwise be!

And Rodgers had lost his way in many documented ways; I wouldn't say it was his ego making him struggle; he was suffering from a messiah complex. The way he played had taken a noticeable shift and he even admitted it, claiming this off season he'd "dedicate" himself to the game. Your claiming Mike's ego is in the way; but the only evidence you use to support it is that you believe Callahan would l be better. i certainly dont think so, and I'll bet you dont either 😂.

Martha Careful (10-May) : 1. this is true of all our linemen. 2. His run block is fine. 3. If all OL played like he has, we would win SB.
beast (10-May) : Meyers pass blocking is really good, his run blocking is really not.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : Packers have claimed DE Spencer Waege off of waivers from the 49ers and waived DT Rodney Mathews.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : And the OL protections seem to be good.

Mucky Tundra (9-May) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : Bust it is then
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Context. Sounds like Myers won't be cross-trained. C or bust.

Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers actually had Ray Lewis on the phone.

buckeyepackfan (6-May) : The Green Bay Packers have signed WR Julian Hicks, OL Lecitus Smith (luh-SEET-us) and WR Dimitri Stanley
Zero2Cool (6-May) : Petty, but it's annoying me how the NFL is making the schedule release an event.
Mucky Tundra (4-May) : @mattschneidman Matt LaFleur on how he tore his pec: “Got in a fight with the bench press. I lost.”
Zero2Cool (3-May) : Jordan Love CAN sign an extension as of today. Might tak weeks/months though

Zero2Cool (2-May) : Giannis Antetokounmpo is listed as out for tonight's game.
dfosterf (2-May) : Surprisingly low initially is my guess cap wise, but gonna pay the piper after that
dfosterf (2-May) : The number on Love is going to be brutal.
Zero2Cool (2-May) : May 3rd. Extension day for Jordan Love. (soonest)
Zero2Cool (1-May) : USFL MVP QB Alex McGough moved to WR. So that's why no WR drafted!
earthquake (1-May) : Packers draft starters at safety ever few years. Collins, Clinton-Dix, Savage
beast (1-May) : Why can't the rookies be a day 1 starter? Especially when we grabbed 3 of them at the position
