Two 1sts and a 5th is really good value. Brees is no spring chicken they're one injury away from this being a top 10 pick next year.

I am unclear as to how much a first round CB will solve any of our need issues this upcoming season. I hope we take the best player on the teams board. What would be wrong with taking a top talent offensive or defensive lineman like McGlinchey or Vea if you think they will be a better player than the CB or OLB on the board at the time?

That being said as a first year GM I think that BG will pick CB Jaire Alexander as he will likely be the top ranked CB on the board at the time. I think BG definitely does not want to make a pick that will be controversial in terms of requirement with his first pick in his first draft.

Didn't know what to expect from the new GM, but basically turning a 3rd round pick into a 1st pick is kinda impressive.

Measured against most pre-draft evaluations of talent (Mayhock rated top corner in the draft), a very nice first day for the new GM.
But as other have posted, you cant make everyone happy.
